Barcelona Suites is a Real Miami Gem

I loved my stay at Barcelona Suites. My room was spacious and clean. It was also very quiet, considering it was a block from Espanola Way. I wish I could have stayed longer. I also appreciate that there was no t.v. in the room.

Lovely, Peaceful Hideaway-Centrally Located

I love this place! Communication was solid. The accommodations were very thoughtful, had everything I needed. It’s a very calming space, I felt like I was at a meditation retreat until I’d step outside the gates and be surrounded by bars and restaurants. Not too far from the beach, easy walk straight east. I’m coming back!

What a great stay! The Barcelona Studios Guesthouse is within walking distance of Collin’s Avenue including Ocean drive and the beach (~10 minutes) and conveniently steps away from Española Way. The set up is studio style therefore it really gave guests a “at home” feeling. The studio also had a small kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, and small cooking area if you prefer to do so including small table to dine at. Additionally, there were beach towels AND chairs provided for a visit to the beach! On the lobby, there are complimentary items you can borrow or take (ex. Sun screen, aloe Vera, toiletries, etc) in the event you forgot an item or two - this came in handy since I forgot sunscreen! The front gate is always locked therefore I always felt safe and the self check-in process was straight forward and the host was communicative. Shout out to the host (Adriana) and Simone for allowing me to keep my bags in storage after check out while I had lunch before heading to the airport. Highly recommend this location to anyone!!!

Definitely no frills, but was adequate for what we were looking for. There was no tv in the room, but that was more or less ok as we didn’t go to Miami Beach to stay in the room all day. Neat old building. Felt secure. Was quiet enough while we were there. No complaints about noise.

The location was great — right in Miami Beach and at a very reasonable price. The place is an old house converted into small studios, not recently renovated but still quite comfortable overall. You can feel a bit of humidity, which is understandable for this kind of older building. What I didn’t like, though, is that the manager lives inside the property and constantly watches over what’s going on. Each time someone came in or spoke a little louder, she would appear to check who it was. It made me feel a bit watched, which is not what you expect when staying at a hotel.

Sehr sauber und grosszügiges Studio mit kleiner Küche (zwei Herdplatten, grosser Kühlschrank mit Gefriehrfach). Ruhige Zimmer, man hört höchstens die rücksichtslosen Hotelgäste, die trampeln. Das Bett ist sehr hart, Badezimmer top (die Duache hat genügend Druck um lange Haare zu waschen). Das Studio hat viel Abstellflächen, zwei Kommoden und bietet die Möglichkeit, Kleider/Tücher/etc aufzuhängen zum Trocknen. Im Aussenbereich wird man von Katzen begrüsst :) Es hat zwei Strandstühle, die man an den Strand mitnehmen kann, wenn man sich keine Liegestühle leisten will.

Nice place in Lincoln Rd

A small but cozy place a few blocks away from Lincoln Rd. The infrastructure is lil' bit old, but it was perfect for a couple of days in Miami Beach. The bathroom (especially the space between the toilet and the wall) was pretty small but everything seems to work more than ok.
