Although the property is beautiful, the trip was a disaster from the start! It was so much dust in the room, it appeared that it hasn’t been cleaned in months! I had an OCEAN FRONT suite, & tried to get a ln early check in. I was told the person left early, so they’re cleaning the room! I stayed at the desk bc I was told Expedia nvr sent my deposit $585, and I had to pay 1170.22 to stay! 😡 This elite room, was a MESS! Dust doesn’t build up like that in 2 days! My sister kept sneezing/coughing the entire time! I spoke with the front desk and showed them the pics of the mold, dust, and dirty furniture, to no avail! I was told housekeeping would come & do a deep cleaning, and I’m still waiting….Im home now! They didn’t come to clean, there was no Happy Birthday sign on the door, and the balcony door didn’t lock! Maintenance did fix the door, but one would think, they would try to accommodate us! 🙄 My sister is a preferred member too, but I paid for the trip, for her birthday! At the restaurants, you will always wait a hour or more for your food! We ate at Blue Mountain but had to wait almost a hour to be seated. Then to wait another hour for our food was absolutely not acceptable! The manager said he would make it right, after my sister told him the room conditions, but when we went to the front desk the next day, he was at lunch! He came in while we were at the front desk, looked at us, & kept walking to the back office, not even acknowledging us! NVR STAYING AT SECRETS AGAIN
