First time

Excellent price, less than half the price of a national chain on the opposite side of town! Good value for money, am a full English type of bloke re a breakfast but really enjoyed the healthier continental breakfast.

Relaxing and Comfortable stay in Boston

Nicely refurbished hotel by the quay. I stayed in very hot weather and it was refreshing to have a well good fan in the room.

Nice but sort out the drain smell

The bar and restaurant are great and the food is exceptional, one of the best meals I have had! I stayed in Room 15, which I have stayed in before, which is a bit on the small side and could do with a tea making table instead of having to use the bedside table. The worst issue is that on both occasions', the room has a strong smell of "drains/damp" Whilst I would happily stay here again, I would not stay in this room again

Very comfortable room. Eventually worked out that I needed to have the shower cubicle light on in order to turn on the toilet room light! Staff very helpful. Only a buffet cold breakfast available; no cooked breakfast like a full English available. Happy with my stay though and the price, which included breakfast.

Cute little room, seemed clean and tidy. Was actually in better nick than larger chains I've stayed with. The place is a bit of a rabbit warren, but it's nice. Bar seemed good, very well stocked. Some people I was with said the evening food was great. Breakfast was continental serve yourself. Cereals, white and brown bread, crumpets, danish pastries, croissants, buttter, jam, fruit, ham and cheese, yoghurt. Also juice, and a coffee machine. All the staff I encountered were polite and friendly. Do note there is parking, but I don't believe there is enough for all guests. There is on-street parking outside, however.

A real pleasant surprise and enjoyable considering the reason for our visit. The was clean, the complementary in room refreshment were plentiful. We did have one small the room was really warm and room supplied fan was not working. After speaking with a member of staff this was soon rectified. The shower was a dream simple controls and plenty of room without needing to be a contortionist to shower. The food was exceptional and excellent value for money. Try the salmon in a bed of mashed potatoes and asparagus finished off in a white creamy sauce absolutely delicious at a fair honest price. The menu was varied with fresh of vegetables a rarity these days when you'll be lucky to get microwave peas. If I was going to be nick pick I would have loved to have seen a pint of real ale instead of all the foreign beers that breweries think we all like. Being a local lad a Good honest pint of Bateman's to showcase what Lincolnshire has offer. If not on the pump bottled IPA or XXXB. This little group of local hotels is credit to the area. And finally a heart felt thank you to all the staff you made stay a pleasant and we will be back.

Check in was easy and staff very helpful and attentive and although advising the restaurant was fully booked said they would try to fit us in, which they did. The food was lovely and well priced. We had booked the deluxe double room which was huge with a lovely bathroom. Only downside was the desk had no power points to plug laptop in so ended up working on bed, The room was large and would have benefited from a couple of comfy chairs as the bar and restaurant are not open on Sundays, in fact there were no staff there after 10 am Sunday morning (not advertised or stated when booking) so the only place to sit on a bad weather day as we had is to sit on the bed Breakfast is included, but is just a very basic Continental offering, no hot options. Which was a disappointment after the good food in the restaurant the night before I was looking forward to a cooked breakfast All the staff were top notch though and cannot be faulted just a few minor points that had these been mentioned on the booking form I would have probably wouldn’t have booked it

4/10 Fair

We booked a large double with on suite bathroom What we got was a small double with on suite just big enough to walk down both sides of bed The bed was held up with bits of wood which kept stubbing my toes on . The bed side lights didn’t work (which were replaced) when I went to complain on Sunday afternoon there was no body about in fact there was no one in either the reception kitchen or bar it was deserted Apart from the bed side lights being replaced there NO CONTACT from the hotel management at all! Which is either BAD management or bad manners

2/10 Poor

Little gem of a hotel in Boston

This is a little gem of a hotel situated only a 10-15 min walk from Boston town centre. From the moment we arrived we were looked after. It was our base for the Bank Holiday weekend. The room was lovely, with great facilities including a fridge and large TV, as well as a comfortable bed. Breakfast was included and was a fantastic selection for a continental style breakfast. The housekeeper was very friendly and gave us what we needed. A budget hotel with the price tag, but definitely not the service - this was amazing.

Nice, reasonably priced hotel

Arrived at the hotel and we were very disappointed to find the hotel car park was not available to use, we had to park our car on the street outside the hotel. Check-in was easy with pleasant staff and a very good size room with a super-king size bed and a large ensuite with bath and separate shower. We ate in the hotel and had a very nice, reasonably priced meal. Our room was directly above the bar but we weren't bothered too much by noise. The night was very warm and we had to have the windows open for air but we weren't too bothered by traffic noise until 6am. Nice continental breakfast. All in all, reasonable value for money.

Quayside Comfort

The hotel is in a good location 10 minutes walk from Boston town centre. The room was large with a lovely view of the river. It had everything we needed but another chair would be nice to sit and watch the boats go by. Continental breakfast was fine. Free parking at the hotel. However on the night we stayed there was a private party in the bar. The music was so loud we couldn't hear each other or the TV so we had to go for walk. No chance of a drink in the bar unfortunately. On check in we were told the music would finish at 11pm. Unfortunately this didn't happen and it was after midnight before it went off. Then there was another period of loud arguments outside.
