Pod hotel in a great location. Cozy living rooms. Clean and well designed bathrooms. They do charge extra for blankets and you have to sleep with eye

Art scene lovers delight!

The Italian Deli on Kenmar was superb, lots of great restaurants, fabulous artisan pizza. Art galleries, including an incredible street art alley nearby are well worth visiting again. The staff really helped with subway directions and a lot more. The hotel reminded me of hotels in Europe where guests share some facilities.

Good stay. Great value.

Great location in trendy neighborhood. Close to trains and south Manhattan activities. The price is amazing. Walking distance to great desserts at Little Cupcake Bakery!!

I love NYC !

Anything you need is a short walk away. I had a medium sized cubicle. Bed was comfy… good sheets…good pillows. I slept well. Be ready for LOTS of stairs… and depending on your location in the building, a walk to the bathrooms. The common areas and kitchens are very comfortable and there are people from all over the world to visit with. There is a “ quiet” rule enforced, but it was a very tranquil environment so NOT a complaint. I am almost 70 and had a GREAT time there.

It's a hostel and bare bones but the price is good and the place is clean.

The facilities were kept clean. Staff was friendly. Subways were nearby. The only linens I got were a sheet. My trip was in late September so it was still pretty warm, so I was good with just the sheet. Idk if they have any other blankets for colder months. The neighborhood was chill. Decent amount of bars and restaurants/eateries nearby if you didn’t want go out to far from the hostel at night.
The inside of my cabin. The bed was actually pretty comfortable. But the only linens I got were sheets. So maybe might want to see about a blanket.

Cute place, but hard to sleep at night because of

The property is special, but it is very hard to sleep at night because there is a lot of noise and people coming in and out, old doors are not fixed so constantly the other people on your floor wake you up. Owner’s should invest a bit more but guests should be aware that walls are very thick and you have no ceiling so you’re almost liking a campground. Service by fernando was extra extraordinary.
Joaquin, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

It is like a hostel but with some privacy - though you can hear anything as all pods are opened on the top. Beds is not uncomfortable but very little space in the room and if you are taller than 6 foot... good luck. Showers are good but... one toilet for man for over 20 pods? Seems little.

Basic, but decent value

The communal areas are nice, as per the photos. The rooms are very basic, what you would expect for a hostel rather than a hotel and a cheap price. If all you want to use the room for is to sleep, it's fine. Ear plugs and sleep mask provided for free.

They were so kind, the bathrooms and showers were so clean and same with the bedrooms!

2/10 Poor

I've stayed here a few times. Every time it got worse to the point now I can no longer even feel good about the lower cost. This last time was the final straw. I arrived at my booking, I entered the room code, there was ALREADY SOMEONE SLEEPING THERE!

Great location!
zoe, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The cabins are tiny and bed was small (but comfortable mattress). Everything was very clean and I felt safe the entire time I was there. Ceiling of the cabin is open (lattice on top) so you will have noise and light from others to deal with. It was perfect for me for the 48 hours I was in the city going to shows and visiting friends because I used it just as a place to store belongings and sleep. The bed was short and fit right between two walls so if you are a very tall person (I'm 5'7) you probably will struggle to sleep comfortably. Overall, an excellent deal for the price and fit my needs but you definitely can't go in expecting a regular hotel experience.
