Overall we had a good experience. The room was good and had all the basic necessities. The property itself is getting a bit outdated. The view on the beach is amazing. The pools are huge which I really liked. The options for food are ok. The quality of the food is below europeans standards. And the possibility to go out for diner require a bit more effort since the resort is very secluded and there is not much in the neighborhood. We enjoyed the nature and the animals around the area. The staff is a hit or miss. Some of them are well trained, others don’t know what they are doing. Which sometimes gives a bit bit of a confusing experience. Overall a very nice place to stay.

When you are being driven into the resort through the conservation area and then you get your first glimpse of the beach from reception it feels special and it is. This is a holiday for the body, mind and soul...the resort and staff offer something you cant find everyday...there are a few areas that need a facelift but you wont care because the overall experience is so good...

Best stay and best hospitality!

I had a good time in tanjung rhu report. Not only is peaceful, the ambience is simply just welcoming. Food is great, staff are friendly and room is so comfortable, big and clean! The money i paid for with my family is simple so worth it. I wish to thanks to their manager Hafiz Hashim and customer service lady Izzati not to forget the porter service young guy for being so attentive to my needs and helping me with my late check out and arranging my baggage and taxi to the airport. Your services are exceeded beyond my expectation and i will definitely come back and recommend to my friends to enjoy their stay here in the future. Kudos to Tanjung Rhu resort! They provide the best Malaysian hospitality always through good PR and Greetings!

Good stay at Tanjung Rhu Resort. Front desk Assistant Manager Hazima was friendly and helpful. She was able to provide clear information upon arrival to facilitate our check-in process. Despite checking in at a slightly later time on Thursday late afternoon she walked us up to our room located at the highest level. Room was spacious and we like it. Service was excellent provide by Hazima. We had our meals at Chef Table, food was impeccable and the mains was presenting perfectly. Restaurant manager Haslinda was able to communicate with us fluently and recommended the restaurant specialty to us. It was well worth the meal and the restaurant was located right beside the beach. Food and service was excellent in overall. Loves the panda panna cotta. In addition, we had satay at the cafe as well. Satay was good. Could have been more sticks! During our last day, naim who was the front desk staff on duty, facilitated our checkout process seamlessly and assisted us by sending us to the car park. Overall it was a very good experience and we hope to visit Langkawi Tanjung Rhu in future.

A heavenly place

It was an amazing experience! A hotel with a delightful territory, very large! there is a place to walk and watch the local wildlife (monkeys, iguanas, squirrels). Private parking. 1) The transfer was from the hotel. We were greeted and escorted to the first class as VIP guests. Langkawi Island is small, so the transfer from the airport to the hotel takes about 30-40 minutes. In the same time, you can get to the opposite end of the island. 2) The staff is very friendly and tries to please in any request. 3) Beautiful picturesque territory of the hotel. Very well maintained. The beach is cleaned and leveled every morning. It is of huge width and length. Very beautiful design of the pools, I didn't want to leave them. 4) The sand is pleasant, the entry into the sea is shallow, there are no waves. There are strong tides that you can walk in knee-deep water for about 150 meters. Further along the beach you can find various tour sellers and a local cafe. 5) The rooms are large, comfortable. A huge bed, good cosmetics. Cleaning every day, level 5+. Half of the hotel is non-working, as we understood 6) A good variety of breakfasts, everyone will find to their taste. The food is on the menu at reasonable prices, they cook well. 7) There are no crowded places around the hotel. This is a quiet place where you can enjoy the beautiful views and relax from the hustle and bustle. If I would recommend Langkawi to someone, it would be only here.

This resort is beautiful. The private beach area was gorgeous, the pool is amazing, the whole resort was lovely and clean. I highly recommend it for a pleasant, pretty, postcard-looking, quiet stay. The staff were very friendly, however I’m not sure if it was due to being off peak season, but they didn’t seem well trained in some aspects. The pool bar didn’t always have someone serving, and on one of the days the person serving didn’t know how to make drinks or even pour wine and said we could only order water or coke as he wasn’t trained. I felt bad for him (and us). The egg maker at breakfast would forget our order every single morning. The massage was cancelled 5 minutes before the appointment. Just little things like that were a little frustrating but as they were so friendly it was hard to be annoyed. When I did get my massage it was incredible! The breakfast buffet was decent, the 2 open restaurants were good but I would have loved to try the fine dining restaurant however this was closed the whole time. The rooms were big and nice. I did notice that the sheets weren’t changed on the day that we asked them to be changed (there were small holes in it so I knew that they were the same sheets). Apart from that very clean rooms and resort. The location was on the quiet side near the Four Seasons which I really liked, however around a 30-40 minute drive to town and most attractions. Overall I enjoyed my stay and I would go back, I feel very relaxed. 4/5.

We as a family had an amazing stay. Booked an extra night. Location at beach with amazing views, incredible rooms, fantastic swimming pools. Staff is incredible friendly and helpful. If you are at Langkawi this would be the place for me to book again. We had other hotels in Langkawi on this trip. This was by far the best.
