Wonderful Inn, wonderful experience

The staff was friendly, especially Lisa, the room was comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was fantastic. We also loved that they had a Tesla charger right on site! There was a beautiful view of both the lake and mountain from our room, and breakfast was included!

Beautiful property, historic, spotless. Wish we had got there earlier to enjoy the lake. It was dark when we arrived. Check in lady was delightful. We would have stayed later in the week on our way back but they were booked up.

We spent one night at the Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was (very) small but sufficient. Bathroom was also very small. We did have some issues with the water temp in the shower though. Outside grounds are lovely and well cared for. Views are beautiful!

Great, but not excellent.

We visited middle of the winter, so not the busy season at all. There were only a few others staying that weekend. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast, which is included, was really good. A full breakfast with all you could want and more. The rooms were our only slight disappointment. We don't mind a small cozy room, but they are quite small the the bathroom even smaller. We just felt the photos online of the rooms were not very accurate to the actual size. The shower was about 30"x30". The room very tiny. Overall a nice place to stay.

Lovely setting. The staff was very informative and incredibly accommodating and nice. Exceptional. Our dinner and the oak room with our waitress was fabulous. There is difficulty carrying bags upstairs, especially if you’re on the second floor. You do have to negotiate the various roof configuration so you do not bunk your head. Bathroom could use some more shelves and hooks. Perhaps during a sporting event such as the NBA playoffs a designated area with a TV would be nice. I understand the effort being made for the vibe. Again an excellent and friendly staff. Breakfast was great having coffee available was great.

Wonderful stay for a family celebration. Food was absolutely outstanding and the staff are incredible- warm, attentive, and accommodating. We enjoyed the kayaking, access to the water, and pickleball. The common areas are perfect for family gatherings and relaxed time together. Loved our time there and totally recommend!

Best stay of our trip

We spent a week in New England and this was by far the best accommodation. There was a lovely sitting room with a fireplace and coffee all day long. The breakfast was restaurant quality, delicious and healthy - freshly cooked eggs, plain Greek yogurt with berries, overnight oats, fresh pastries, etc. Our king room was fantastic with comfortable mattresses and even a fake fireplace with remote control. Despite the cold weather we still enjoyed the lake and beachfront, our toddler loved throwing rocks in the water. The natural setting was absolutely beautiful. Hoping to come back one day and this time will stay longer. You need a whole day to just relax and soak it all in!
