Fantastic

Fantastic little hotel ideally placed for a trip to Berlin. Travelled solo from Scotland and couldn’t fault the place. Staff were helpful and friendly upon check in and the room was great. Such a lovely neighbourhood too and really easy to get the U-Bahn or just a short walk to Potsdamer Platz. Highly recommend staying here.

Bath leaked from the bottom. Toilet stopped working - had to call in reception for it to be rectified. No bar or restaurant within hotel, only a mini bar No breakfast tea bags in room Other than the above, the rooms are all clean, modern, comfy and the hotel is conveniently location. However, I wouldn’t personally return to this hotel.

They insist on answers to intrusive questions as part of check in. As a vegan the breakfast was terrible value (why no cooked mushrooms, or tomatoes or hash browns, or vegan sausages?), but with no kettle etc there was no other option to get some caffeine in me after a dreadful night's sleep (the air conditioning made the air too dry, I think).

If you're sensitive to noise, beware

Really disappointed with this hotel First of all despite being called Potsdamer platz its actually quite far by foot The hotel is located right next to sbahn tracks that run throughout the night and early morning which causes a bit of vibration As this was winter they turned off AC completely in the hotel so to get any fresh air i had to open the windows, which open directly onto ubahn / sbahn tracks . There was no way to turn on at least ventilation The area around the hotel gets a bit weird at night, there were literally street prostitutes and drug users a block away Otherwise the hotel is modern and clean, the gym is sufficient and breakfast was ok

We were first given a room with railway outside. When I told them that I was a very light sleeper, they kindly changed our room. I was very grateful for that. Room was quite small. Cleanliness level could be improved. The container for tea/coffee sachets was very dusty. Previous customers’ hair or small pieces of rubbish could be seen here and there on the floor. No kettle in the room, but would be given one if you ask. A bottle of water is provided in the room for free, which was nice. There were also coffee and apples provided at the reception area, which I think was very kind and generous. Gleisdreieck station Is walking distance. A big pub was nearby. There are nice eating places five minutes’ walk from the hotel.
