I like the hostel concept and affordability. I disliked the very uncomfortable mattress and the noisy comings and goings all night long. I expected close quarters, but six people in such a small room was WAY too crowded.

I booked for two weeks. After 2 nights a terrible smell started in the room. It was not able to get remedied by the hotel. Made it incredibly uncomfortable to sleep any night after that. I preferred to sleep in my personal vehicle for 2 nights to see if it would get fixed. It didn’t. I asked for a refund on the remaining days that I wasn’t going to stay. And I was rejected. Terrible ownership.

It has been a while since I stayed in a hostel and so it felt a bit like a chore before I arrived but it was a great stay. All female dorm was clean and comfortable. Bed size was more like Twin XL with charging ports and a little shelf beside each bed. There was a bathroom in the room but also male/female public bathrooms to use so as not to wake my roommates up. There is also the Space Bar with ample outdoor seating for a place to hang out. It is beside the Interstate so you hear the traffic but it’s kinda like background noise and muffled in the room. Safe area. Easy to walk to the Red Line. Great eateries within walking distance and the Houston Farmer’s Market is round the corner. Bradford checked me in at night and Edward makes rounds to check that all is well and everyone is happy. Events on Fridays and weekends. It was a delightful stay and the price was good.
