Really Great Spot

We loved our stay at the lakeview room! It was very clean and had everything my friend and I needed to be comfortable! The staff even went out of their way to accommodate us with a fan when asked :) The canoe, kayaks, SUP's and paddleboat are a very nice touch! There was a firepit and supplies for a nice evening fire as well! Great stay at a childhood favorite location~ Thank you!

Nice cozy property, with newly renovated modern interior. Our queen suite fit our kids easily with the high quality sofabed. Has all the amenities you need like heated pool, its own beach with a lot of boating options, grills. The lake Luzerne itself is beautiful- quiet and lovely. Has a place for a bonfire, and the owners are hands on, usually available on site, and helpful. Bathroom size a bit smallish, well definitely be back.

A peaceful restful place

I especially enjoyed the quiet mornings on the lake sitting on the dock listening to the Loons & bullfrogs. It was peaceful, beautiful & most of all relaxing. The owners showed pride of ownership and were attentative. When raking the beach & greeted had a friendly smile .

Well what an adorable place! Private lake and pool! Rooms very clean with frig , Coffee and microwave.. Beds comfy with lots of pillows. Quiet and relaxing. No cable have Roku. Shower very tiny but doable! Ample parking for units! Tops 5 miles away! Stewarts everywhere! 30 mins to SPAC and Lake George! Great for Families or Solo getaways! Not 5 star but very nice! Beware lots of stairs too rooms on poolside! Will definitely be back!

The space was recently remodeled and it actually extremely nice. However, if you are on the pool side of the motel access to the lake isn’t easy it’s actually two separate motel buildings. The room doors stuck and you had to slam shut or slam open to be able to get them open which caused noise for other rooms. Check in and out was odd as no one was actually in the office to check in or out with so we received an email for electronic access to the room and check out we had to call to let them know we were leaving. Overall for a quick weekend it was a nice space and not far from plenty of attractions.

AMAZING

This is an AMAZING place to stay! The owner was very kind and friendly when we arrived. Got to the room and was blown away by the cleanliness of it. It was a great size room with a mini fridge/freezer which was so nice to have! It was so quiet and peaceful! It is in the middle of many things to do or if you want to stay close. My boyfriend and I will be returning back very soon! HIGHLY RECOMMENED STAYING HERE! beyond a 5 star review!

Very clean and spacious room. Check in was easy. We didn’t have to call for any issues so not sure how that service would be but it was a great little place to stay. If there was an ice machine we could not find it.

We arrived at the property and found that we had to walk up a lot stairs which didn’t have enough rallying for anyone that needed it. My husband walks with a cane and had a hard time. The living room only had one couch and a very small table with 2 chairs. The living room had an AC unit but not in the bedroom, we had to use a floor stand fan which didn’t make the room any cooler. The bathroom was small and the shower stall was small you could even turn around In it. I thought I was getting a kitchen but it was only a mini fridge and a tiny stove. The one good thing was the porch which we spent a lot of time on it at night. The pool was good but the area where the beach was, was two driveways down the road and you were supposed to be able to fish there but it wasn’t what the website said. The place needs a lot of updates. I don’t think we will be visiting this place in the future. We were so excited to go on vacation but was disappointed. Staff was friendly. We should of done a little more research.

Loved our weekend at Motel Luzerne -having traveled into Lake George for a 5K, I seem to have found the perfect location, less than 10miles up the road from everywhere we needed to be. Our room was clean, quiet and had THE MOST AMAZING view of the lake. Looking forward to our next trip to the Adirondacks and post-run dip in the lake!
