The Centerboard is a beautiful little Inn a short walk from downtown. The staff was friendly and very helpful as we arrived early and were allowed to get into our room at that time. There are not a lot of amenities, but the Centerboard is spotlessly clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Great locations; easy walk to everything: shops, restaurants, beaches, ferry and bus stop. This is a small guest house with 4 rooms, nice sitting area large table in dinning room and small porch. Very clean. One maid present during the day otherwise no staff. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved everything about Centerboard--the silence, the comfort of the room, the large shower (don't forget to sing in the shower), the short distance to everything, including the Steamship Authority. It was simple to move in and out and had the room key waiting for us. We will definitely return on our next trip to Nantucket. Can't wait!!

I only stayed for one night for a work project, but it worked out great for me. The room was good for me alone and probably the same for a couple. I thought the bathroom/shower were good. I had to call a couple times in order to get instructions for entrance (as there is no staff), but I ultimately did receive it prior to my check in time.

This hotel is amazing and very clean. From booking to arrival the staff is very warm and welcoming. This place is soo clean and convenient. Management the staff here are amazing. From the guy who answered the phone to the lady who was here yesterday.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay! Quiet, quaint, in the heart of downtown. We walked everywhere and thoroughly enjoyed coming back to the Inn to decompress. We loved the fire pit out front, front porch, and picnic table in the back. Audrey, the housekeeper, was so kind when we saw her and our room was always sparkling clean and refreshed. Service looks more like an “Airbnb” with door codes and your own check in rather than concierge, but we didn’t mind it at all. The interior decor was beautiful and tasteful, something I didn’t feel like was totally captured in my hunt - it may have recently been updated! I found The Centerboard to be one of the more affordable options on island and it had absolutely everything we needed.

It was absolutely lovely, but I really missed having a staff on site which made me feel a bit unsafe. Communication was outstanding, but Hotels.com not so great, with the wrong phone number for the property, and rates higher than if I had dealt directly with the owner.
