Though convenient, it was not a great experience. The fan to keep the room cool was louder than a 7 year only on a drum set. The breakfast left MUCH to be desired. No coffee, powdered eggs. And sausage looked like poker chips. But - the waffles apparently were good.

Hotel staff were curt, and not helpful at all. Beds were hard, and had a terrible flickering light in the bathroom. Mostly clean, but outdated. Did not visit the pool. Breakfast was barely passable, but not friendly to anyone who has dietary restrictions. All single use plastic utensils and cups.

No way to address customer problems!

Older property, decently maintained. However, the AC wasn't working. By the time this was discovered, it was middle of night. Went to lobby to inform of problem, but no one was there. Instead, had to talk to someone somewhere through a machine! Although nice, she wasn't helpful, so spent one our worst nights in a hotel, getting very little sleep!

Absolutely Disgusting

The air conditioner made an awful, loud and obnoxious noise. We asked for a different room and they said they were completely booked up and that the maintenance guy was out. The room was humid and musty. There was black mold in the corners of the shower. Someone else’s hair was all over the shower walls as if they hadn’t cleaned the bathroom. There were stains literally everywhere on the walls and ceiling. It was quite honestly one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. We paid $600 for 2 nights and it was terrible.

It was fine, but somewhat disappointing because regarding the pool area the jets in the hot tub were not working. Some members of the family were very frustrated about that situation. It was pretty obvious the hotel was under some renovations in the pool area as well as some of the rooms. Beds were ok, but not the best. The breakfast was very good except there wasn't any fruit available. Not sure we would stay there again as there are other options in Gunnison
