Delightful and quiet location and yet easy to get to all the main attractions of York city centre without the need for a car or taxi. Our room was very comfortable for a family of 4. We had one king and two twin beds, and the room was spacious enough to enjoy our short excursion to York. The location was fantastic. We could walk to the train station and to the city center. The street is quiet and beautiful. The bathroom was a highlight. It was spotless and looked recently renovated. The only thing was that we never saw any adult staff on the premises. The teen girls that worked there were very nice but couldn’t answer some of our questions. It would have been nice to have had face to face interaction with the owners or adult staff. Overall, we would stay there again and give it bonus points for cleanliness.
