(Rick Steves Tour of Poland). We had a tiny room. Two steps up to the bed. We couldn’t place our luggage in the closet, and we had to make room under the window. It was very convenient The bathroom had a shower as well. (No tub.) We stayed in 101.

A Nice Hotel

After being on the phone with hotels.com for over an hour trying to get them to book us a new place and the outsourced phone operator not being able to do it I went ahead and booked Hotel Grodek on my own in a bout 2 minutes online. Hotels.com was supposed to pay for it because we were given a different apartment at another location that was a scam. There was a lot of confusion. Hotels.com did not pay for the 2 rooms we did, so we now paid for two separate places on our own because of hotels.com error. This was not the fault of Hotel Grodek but we went from a place that was supposed to be a 3 bedroom apartment to 2 very small hotel rooms. I think up to 2 adults could have a lovely time staying here, but it's not great for a family stay. Supposedly they had one bigger room but they were not willing to give to us unless we could pay even more of a fee. After all we had been through that night we were not willing to do that. This was only for 2 nights and is a totally acceptable stay in Krakow. Note: The receptionists were kind and helpful and tried to understand the confusion with hotels.com that is now also expedia and is not a good service anymore, but it just wasn't working. The shower is awful. The shower head does not stay up at all, but otherwise, it is a nice hotel for a short stay.

Hyggeligt hotel - tæt på alt ...

Super fint hyggeligt, ældre hotel - roligt og centralt beliggende i Krakow. Vi nød vores 3 overnatninger på dette meget velholdte hotel med kort gå afstand til seværdigheder og restaurationer. Vi havde en standardværelse, der dog var stort, velfungerende og meget hyggeligt. Der er er ikke parkeringsmuligheder direkte ved hotellet; men man kan parkere direkte ud for hoveddøren ved check-in og check-out. Der er ca. 400 meter hen til hotellets P-plads (imod betaling). Ellers er ganske få meter fra hotellets rolige placering adgang til det smukke by-centrum og et væld af af restauranter, barer og seværdigheder. Vi spiste kun morgenmad på hotellet, som var rigtigt god - og anvendte den hyggelige bar. Saunaen er på 3. sal. Den er lille og intim med badefacilitet. Kommer gerne igen ...

Hotel heeft geen eigen parking en is gelegen in een zone waar je alleen met een bewoners kaart mag parkeren. Verder echt een heel mooi en goed hotel. Zeer verzorgd ontbijt.

Albergo carino e in posizione comodissima per raggiungere la Piazza del Mercato. Silenzioso e con arredamenti in stile antico con moquette nelle camere che,personalmente non amo. Altra nota negativa in un hotel 5 stelle e che non si può vedere è la tenda che chiude la vasca dove fare la doccia e la mancanza di un bidet. Forniti accappatoio e ciabattine e comodo anche avere la cassaforte a disposizione Senza dover pagare nulla. Buona qualità anche il cibo servito nel Ristorante con piatti anche sfiziosi e prezzi non esagerati. non amo. di bidet ibag nota

Too dated, 5 ***** completely not appropriate.

Pretty dated interior. Used to have charm, but now too dusty and uncomfy. Starting from no parking and ending with very narrow and unfomfortable beds (80cm widh!) No shampoo in bathroom, hairdryer for bold people only. Good breakfast for a plus. I was using this hotel last 15 years, but it is highest time to change it for sth. more up to date.
