Fantastic and welcoming stay

From the greeting at reception to leaving the hotel all i can say is it was one of the nicest, friendliest, cleanest hotel i stayed in. The staff couldn't do enough for us and the food was outstanding The owner mingled with guests both at dinner and breakfast time and was a lovely person.

The staff are friendly. The rooms are comfortable and had everything we needed. Normally I wpuld say it is quiet and easy to park the car buth they had a fundraiser on so it was busy busy busy. It was difficult to park the car but the reception staff did all they could. A love hotel.

Toilet didn’t plush, hot and no AC, phone in the room doesn’t work. Front desk told us to lift the lid of the toilet or use a bucket of water to flush. Oh and the toilet doesn’t have a lid. Had to show them a picture of the toilet… that’s where the idea of a bucket of water came into play.

Latest of many visits to The Park, and I believe it's just getting better. Rooms are generously sized, bar area is excellent, and breakfast is even better a-la-carte than when it was buffet.

Great for Knock

Great hotel for visits in area and for Knock airport. Currently undergoing refresh. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Did not see laundry service in room. Good shower! Food in the restaurant is very good and value too. Staff are friendly and attentive. Breakfast in relation was ok. Did notice mould on toast but was resolved very quickly.

Only issue was keeping the heat at the set temperature in the room, and on the last day, there was no hot water to allow us to take a shower. We called the front desk to report the issue and they called back to say that the boiler had gone off. They turned it back on but still no hot water an hour later. Roof leak noted by the elevator on the second floor. Towels and a bucket were put in place to catch the water dripping. Elevator had intermittent issues with closing.

What I really didn't like was the bar, which should have been a area for relaxing. Instead of which, it was clearly meant for customers wishing to dine there only . There was a notice saying "Please wait to be seated." I found that most unwelcoming .For that reason, I would never stay at that hotel again or recommend it to my colleagues. I deeply regret having to bring this matter to your attention, but to be honest it should be brought to the attention of management!!!

Stay was nice, room was very big and spacious. Very comfortable bed. Shower was a bit small but did the job. Breakfast is my only complaint it was awful. The fruit was turning in the bowl and the cheeses were hard on the edge. The whole thing looked unappealing. Didn’t continue to browse the rest. Just left immediately. It was apparent that if the fruit was bad the rest could not be good.
