I stayed at Happy Days Apartments in Liverpool and, while there were a few positives, overall the experience was disappointing.
The communal entrance and stairway were untidy, with rubbish bags and worn carpets that clearly needed a deep clean. Inside the apartment, the furniture and bathroom were tired — the sofas were stained, and the bathroom floor felt soft and uneven, as if water had seeped underneath.
Noise was a major issue. Every night we could hear loud music, shouting, and screaming from the nearby bars and street, making it very difficult to sleep. The area also felt a little rough, with a strip club at the end of the street adding to the uneasy atmosphere.
On the plus side, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious, and the shower worked well.
Overall, this accommodation might suit groups on a night out or those looking for a cheap place close to the nightlife, but if you value cleanliness, comfort, and a peaceful night’s sleep, it’s best to look elsewhere.
