Lobby was NOT inviting, if it wasn’t so late at night I would have found some other place . Door to room was open when we got upstairs. Condition of room horrible!! Room wall heat/AC grille was dirty , unit needed servicing. Two people in room, two small bath towels , two hand towels, two washcloths, ALL dingy and stained!! Pillows 3 small and thin. Booked two night stay,Checked out in the morning !!!!

old and poorly maintained

The place was poorly maintained and worn.

6/10 Good

A basic place to sleep. The room was clean, the shower hot, there were no bugs to be seen, and the bed was decent. They even had a little breakfast in the morning! The place could use some updating though. We stayed 2 nights and were surprised that the maids came in and tidied up each day. That was a nice touch. Overall it was a decent place to stay.

More like a Motel than a Hotel

For the amount of money they charge its not worth it. It's more like a motel..not enough toiletries, the bed was like old,not updated.

Inexpensive hotel, close to “downtown” with lots of food options, and right next to the highway for convenience. 2 things really stuck out though, that should be agnostic of price: 1. There’s no smoking signs everywhere. My room was non-smoking. There’s a sign in the lobby that says all hotels in the state have been smoking-free since like 2012… and yet my room smelled like an ashtray. Like, really bad. 2. My towels were dirty, so much so that I drove to Walmart and bought a new towel to use during my stay.

Great Experience

This room was in great shape and very clean. The only problem I had was that the fire alarm went off and woke me out of a dead sleep. It went off every 5 minutes or so. After the 4th time I called the front desk and someone came to change the battery in just a few minutes. I enjoyed my two nights there.

2/10 Poor

Unfortunately we were unable to stay. The key cards did not work, nor did the Staff's Master Key. There was a breakdown of their system. there were no other rooms available. We had to drive 2 hours to get home at 10 pm the evening of our reservation. The individual on staff that evening was apologetic and gladly gave us a refund.

Overpriced and uncomfortable

Probably would find another hotel. States “grab and go” breakfast. Went down had a choice of an apple or cutie, no coffee had to Door Dash food. The light in the bathroom made a loud metal screeching noise so you had to take phone with flashlight in bathroom at night so no one was getting woke up. Security chain loose put chair in front of door, table broke. For under new management you would think it would be updated in rooms. Spring beds very uncomfortable. Just very overpriced uncomfortable stay.

4/10 Fair

The room was in poor condition. Carpet tore up by entrance. Window was so filthy you could barely see out of it. There was mold all around the ceiling in the bathroom. Dog fur around edges of room like it gets poorly vacuumed. The toilet paper holder was half missing, which is a super easy and cheap enough fix. But apparently more than these owners could afford. Started hearing banging around 7:30 am. And it wasn’t the kind of banging of a couple having a good time. Do not recommend staying here. There are 2 other places right by. Try one of those instead.

2/10 Poor

It was awful; the room smelled terrible and when another guest complained, nothing was done.

Nose Still Burns

Paw Paw Econo Lodge is a trip to be remembered. This place smells like it was never cleaned and only has perfumed the ugly smells of past guests. If you lile the smell of Fabreeze then you'll love this place. It took 2 weeks for the smell of this joint to clear from my CPAP. I'd rather sleep in a roadside Johnny On The Spot than this place in the future.

Simple hotel w/good value

Very affordable and walking distance to the concerts at Warner Winery. The hotel is simple but clean, comfy bed. Thats what matters. The clerk who checked me in was very pleasant. Simple breakfast (bagle or cereal) was included. Id stay here again.

Economy: It is what it Is

If you're on a budget and looking to hang your hat in a quasi-functional room that smells like an odd herbal extract (ginseng we think), look no further. Beds actually worked, unlike the fridge. Had a concert to attend at the vineyard so we got comfortably lit which helped us to crash without much concern.

Don't stay here

We did not stay here. Arrived and asked about the cleanliness of room. Manager (who had extremely bad body odor) replied that it was clean enough for him, but everyone is different. So I asked to see the room before checking in. The card would not open the door, the hallway reeked and the stairwell was too narrow for our cooler. I asked fir a first floor room abd after being told no other rooms, he finally took me to see a 1st floor room. It sermed acceptable and I thanked him. But he was incredibly rude, telling me I was weird for wanting to see the room first and would not get my money back if I refused to stay. I said inspecting a room first was standard in the US. He became agitated, telling me he had been here 25 years and traveled to 49 countries. I replied I was born here and have traveled to well over 100 countries and all 50 states. I stepped out to tell my significsnt other that there was a room. But the manager was very rude to me. He followed me back to the desk and told the man to stop treatimg me poorly. The manager became more irate. So I decided we would just continue our journey. Manager then insisted I would not get my money. I had not given him my credit card. He said it was their policy to charge the booking card at 6 pm. I protested as the online booking said I would not be chargef until I actually checked in.. He got nastier, yelled to get off his property. As we exited the building, he called us "motherf*ckers" followed us out. Unsafe
