The room had a dirty floor and was really small without the fridge and place for a suitcase. The floor was like a Labirynth and service during the check out not polite.

Breakfast is not automatically included. In Sweden? I am traveling in Sweden about 150 nights a year. Breakfast is always included, unless you book this hotel, or another Scandic hotel. Room is fine, has no character.

Stayed for two nights over a weekend. Our room was fresh and spacious but was not comfortable, missing lots of practical elements for the price. There was no proper wardrobe, no desk or any other furniture to put things down except for one little chair, no phone to the front desk, no water boiler for tea/coffee, and no fridge. Two rooms around us were playing music very loudly with their own speakers till late at night, and also early in the morning. We had to complain to the reception multiple times to get support. We also had to book breakfast time slot the day before as well as room-cleaning (if we wanted), which felt rather inconvenient and inflexible. Overall very disappointed with the stay.

Find an alternative hotel

The hotel is conveniently located right in the middle of a giant construction site, so arriving by car feels a bit like competing in The Amazing Race. Finding the entrance? Good luck. Strolling around Gothenburg? Only if you enjoy guessing which detour sign is actually correct. Check-in was a real “treat”. Since I had parked in the short-term lot, my wife went in to handle it, but knowing my name wasn’t nearly enough. No, we needed the magical reservation number. Cue a delightful round of text-tag: “Check your email.” “No, not that one.” “Try the app.” And finally—victory! The sacred digits were found. Oh, and the garage? Sure, you can use it… for 50 bucks a day. Because why not. The room itself? Sleek and modern. So modern, in fact, that they’ve completely reimagined the basics. Complimentary coffee, tea, or even water? Nope. A minibar for when you get hungry? Forget it. It’s as if the hotel decided the best guest experience is removing everything people actually like about hotels.
