I stayed for 3 nights as I was attending a funeral. Travelling by myself, I was conscious of safety - I felt completely comfortable. The rooms were renovated during covid and are virtually new. Very comfortable, great facilities, ate meals downstairs and then took leftovers back to my room. Highly recommend for any traveller.

There are only 11 rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms look recently refurbished. Good size and clean. Only problem is that theres no view. Good for short stay and a place to sleep. Oh, in the nights you can hear the music from the bar going past midnight.

Fantastic staff! Everyone was really friendly and helpful, especially Mandy. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable but could do with some more shelf space in the bathroom. The property has a shared kitchenette where you can make tea/coffee plus there is a microwave and toaster.

Gotta get there early or forget having a car park. There has been an attempt to make the place look better but for the price of the accommodation you expect a bit more then an a coat of paint (a pig with lipstick on is still a pig). Watch out later at night found it a bit dangerous at stout 10:30 when a large fight broke out as my wife and I were trying to head to our room. It’s just a pub and should be price according.

Let’s start with the positives. Easy check in, nice clean rooms with modern bathroom. Easy access down stars to the bar areas. Negatives if you don’t want to sleep this is the place. Understand that these rooms are above a busy pub but having people leaving the establishment and letting them congregate out front is ridiculous. We couldn’t hear the pub noise just everytime people left. Have security moving them on and this would solve the issue. For over $200 a night should of stayed in a quiet motel.

We've stayed at The Peakhurst before and it was adequate, however on this recent most recent occassion it was horrendous! We were assigned a room right next to the giant air conditioning vents above the bottle-o which were very noisy. Staff were accommodating and moved us to another room which was quiet... until 12:30am when the pub turned into a nightclub and the DJ was blasting the dance music right underneath us until 3am! The windows were rattling it was that loud, and there was no chance of getting any sleep after that. The rooms here are clean and comfortable, but we highly recommend bringing ear plugs - you'll need them!

Very popular and noisey local pub but no priority parking for guests staying there. Reception area is not obvious. After a long drive and delays due to road accidents, I had to wait while they found a staff member to open up reception to book myself and another couple in. You could order room service for food but not drinks. Great if you want to party but not if you want to eat, sleep and hit the road early.
