Great for kids!

Great spot for families - our 5 and 10 year old absolutely loved it. Super convenient for walking through the village. The food at the cabana was outstanding and the servers were incredibly friendly. The hotel itself could use a little TLC (our door didn't shut all of the way and the second floor deck was loud and spongey in spots), but the beds were comfortable. We would stay here again.

We had a nice stay here. Location was perfect to town and lake. The rooms were small but very clean. Also, loved that the rooms were cleaned everyday. Pool area was a bit crowded and looked outdated but kids enjoyed it. Outside of hotel looks dated but it’s deceiving because the rooms are so well kept. Would come again.

Great night in Lake George

We visited Lake George for one night with our kids on the way to Montreal and booked this hotel very last minute. The mixed reviews gave us pause but it was a terrific experience! Everyone we interacted with was so responsive and kind. The pool is really nice, as is the little lakeside beach, and we happily took advantage of the affordable kayak rentals. Our room-- one of the budget options-- was renovated, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is also in close walking distance to everything else we wanted to do in Lake George. We would definitely return!

I realize this hotel is older but it truly needs to update the toilets to comfort height. The hotel walkways were all dirty which was surprising. The door to our room would not close all the way from the outside. Overall, it was a little disappointing.

My sister and I went for a little sisters getaway and we both loved this hotel! So fresh and clean with comfortable beds and pillows! The cabana bar was awesome! We can’t wait to go back when it’s not raining so we can enjoy the fire pits, heated pool and to lounge on their beach.

My trip with my family was amazing, they enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. The food at the Galley was tasty. The pool was enjoyable, and we also made full use of the gym and laundry services offered. Over all it was a wonderful experience for my family and i and we highly recommend the Georgian Lakeside Resort.

The pool and beach area is very nice and the motel is close to down down area. The room was partly updated. The floor in my room was very dirty so was the toilet. They charge $10 cash deposit for beach towels. After check out you can not stay on the premises. The staff was not very friendly. The restaurant was very nice with decent food and friendly service. Bottom line is I would never stay there again. It was basically a glorified motel.

Great hotel, and one that I stayed in for the first time! Room was nicely appointed, good size, comfy bed and recently renovated. The dining options were excellent, breakfast was a good value and the outside bar/restaurant offered a good bang for the buck. Great views, service and food options. Put it on your list! Ill be back!

Cabana bar was the best!

The cabana bar, especially Paul the bartender, is the real star of this property. Beautiful views and $5 happy hour titos. Otherwise, not much would bring us back. The room is your average motel room, though it was updated and clean. Neighbors had a barking dog which wasn't ideal. You could only use the beach until 5. With so many better properties around I doubt we would stay again.

Conveniently located near all attractions in lake george. Pool is heated for convenience although it is outdoors. Their restaurant was great, ate twice there, truly impressed. Although property looked outdated from the outside, our room had been updated and was nice. We would definitely recommend the stay here and come back when visiting Lake George.

Vacation…

The Georgian is a nice place to stay, amazing views, beautiful sunrise/sunsets. I only had a few problems there. The shower in my room only stayed hot could never get it cold. The fridge in the room froze everything we had. The staff was not friendly or warm at ALL! Very slow with service not attentive and left dirty plates sitting by the pools for a long while. If I go back it would be for the views.
