The rooms were adequate but t outdated. The building is old but doesn't not have the old charm to it. Very little is in the way of updating or modernization is done. AC units old and smell of mold. Two sides to every story

Hotel has 2 part, old worn out late 80s early 90s part and newer part, we were put in the 80s part (which you dont know about until you get there), spartan at best, may have been ok for a hayseed town out on the prairie but this is Minnesota's Birthplace City. Front desk was good.

Super loud all night long (cars, people) and other rooms jet tubs going off at 2 AM kept us up for a while. Staff were super nice! Our room was cute but no fridge or microwave for that price. The best thing about the hotel was the location, close to everything!
