The location was perfect for sightseeing, walking distance to Empire State Building and Grand Central Station. I was traveling with my young son and I felt very safe. The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Bathroom did not have a lock, which was a little peculiar. We appreciated the restaurant next door to order breakfast and loved the rooftop bar. Staff were friendly too.

Murray Hill hotel

Great location easily walkable to subways and Grand Central. Rooms are very spacious for NYC standards. Village Green rooftop bar is gorgeous and fun cocktail menu! We didn’t receive housekeeping while we were there but not sure if it was by request only. Welcome amenities for my friend’s BD was a nice touch. Room feels a little dated but bed was very comfortable and room was especially quiet. Bell staff was always super helpful with directions and taxi retrieval.

Nice hotel. Great location. Lovely staff. I didn’t much like the restaurant in the hotel, though the staff there was very nice. Great rooftop bar but it gets very crowded. There is a $30 hotdog on the menu! I didn’t order it. Oddly enough the raw oysters which I did order were quite reasonably priced.
