Our recent stay was unsatisfactory due to several issues. The bedding lacked basic hygiene measures; neither the mattress nor the pillows had bed bug protective covers. The pullout sofa's mattress was stained and extremely thin (approximately two inches thick), forcing my son to sleep on the unfolded couch structure instead. Furthermore, the stairwells carpet was stained and had a noticeable odor, raising concerns about general cleanliness.
Customer service was equally poor. When inquiring about the government rate, the representative stated it was only for 'government business trips only' and hung up on me mid-explanation, despite my husband and I being government employees with valid ID. Upon check-in, I witnessed the same employee handle another guest's reasonable request for pullout couch bedding with apparent irritation, instructing the elderly man to return later after he’s settled into the room. The employee's unprofessional appearance (unkempt hair, sloppy clothing, and visible dental issues) contributed to a negative first impression. We will not be considering this hotel brand for future stays.
