The location is close to the city's main railway station. The heating system did not work in the booked room and, as a compensation, I received a free upgrade to a better and more spacious room with street view and also free breakfast. The free WiFi connection is very good. The reception is closed during the night, after 10 pm.

Das Zimmer war oK, Lage sehr nahe am Hauptbahnhof. Beim Check-In ging die Heizung im Zimmer noch, als ich abends vom Essen zurückkam, leif sie nicht mehr. Entweder ist sie ausgefallen oder wurde über nacht abgedreht. Dadurch war es im Zimmer sehr kalt und nicht komfortabel. Auch am Morgen keine Heizung. Kein Personal beim Check-out am Morgen anwesend. Mit funktionierender Heizung würde es eine bessere Bewertung geben.

In general, it was a pleasant one-night stay. The room was big and clean, and the staffs were kind too. The only negative thing is that there is a hill which you need to climb to get to the hotel and there are only stairs. It means you need to detour if you have big luggage. Other than that the location was also good. Easy to reach from the hbf.

Stayed 3 nights in this property. The curtains were falling off the curtain tracks , staff advised that they will be fixed the following day but it didn’t happen. In the bathroom, the cover of the exhaust was broken and was placed on the window sill. No attempt to fix the problems

First, there are 2 ways to get to this hotel from the train station. However, there must have been a name change because on one side it says Hotel Pflieger, which was really confusing. The hotel is up a hill also from the train station, so although it is close, be prepared for an uphill walk. Anyway, everything else was exceptionally clean and well maintained.

The bottom sheet was not fitted and came off during the night making it uncomfortable. The savings on providing such a tiny pillow must be considerable to risk your guests being unhappy. They paper thin towels must also provide similar savings.

Avoid This Hotel - Terrible, Aged, Underinvested

Terrible hotel. Stayed in a Superior Double Room. Room was pretty basic and not what one would expect from a Superior Room. Had a faulty TV on the desk despite the fact a new TV had been installed. Nearby road was very noisy. No aircon meant that the room was like a Sauna most of the night. Alternative was opening windows and being kept awake by all of the nearby traffic. Was awoken around 3am when the bathroom fan fell from the ceiling onto the bathroom floor. Very poor, underinvested hotel. Appears to have recently changed name as their was a different name written on the side of the hotel. I won't be back and I certainly would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
