The rooms are a little dated but they were clean. There is no elevator so we had to walk up to our room on the 3rd floor. However the staff was very polite and welcoming and they helped take the bags up. The food and drinks by the pool was very good. It was perfect for our one night stay.

I booked 2 rooms, upon check in they said they only had one on their records and I had to pull up my confirmation email to confirm. I checked in later at night and they ended up giving me a room that already had folks sleeping inside. Went downstairs to inform the person that checked us in and he said he was going to give us an upgrade but it wasn’t an upgrade. The rooms were also only cleaned once in our 4 night stay. But the extent of the cleaning consisted of making the bed and emptying the trash cans. It feels more of a motel instead of a hotel.

Lovely, smaller sized hotel in a very convenient location close to the beach, shops, restaurants and the best coffee in Waikiki (Kona Coffee Purveyors). Rooms are spacious and very clean, and staff are wonderful.

Affordable room conveniently located. A bit shabby chic but the staff and vibe couldn't be beat! Swing away and enjoy a cocktail at the bar or make new friends around the pool. Everyone; both guests and staff seemed happy to be at the White Sands. Cars are conveniently valet parked right in front of hotel.
