They don’t attend by phone in English.

I had an issue with dates when I first booked and hotels.com tried to resolve it by phone for me to no avail. The property would not answer or if they did the hotel management would not be available. When i arrived at the property I walked in and found both managers at front desk. I told them about my issue and they promptly took care of it.

It’s Centro Rio. Expect to see beggars and smell bad everywhere. It’s 10 min walk to metro via rundown streets. Staff were not impolite but no greetings nor happy face. Rooms are ok - very basic.

Excelente opção de hospedagem no centro do Rio. Próximo ao aeroporto (dá para ir andando). Em frente passa o VLT. Quarto muito bom e com vista bacana. Terraço amplo, com opções de comida e bebida, além de vista livre para o Pão de Açúcar e Corcovado. Café da manhã com bastante variedade. É um hotel simples, mas muito bem cuidado e com excelente localização e com tudo que precisa para ter uma noite tranquila.

O hotel é simples mas funcional, fica ao lado do consulado italiano, esse foi nosso objetivo, o que nos atendeu muito bem devido a praticidade. O café da manhã estava muito bom, básico, mas me surpreendeu positivamente, gostoso e caprichado, os funcionários do café são bem agradáveis. Achei que deveria ter 4 travesseiros na cama de casal mas solicitei e fui atendida. Bem em frente ao hotel passa o vlt, o que não incomodou.

Quarto confortável. Funcional. Fiquei no 505, solteiro, duas diárias. Roupa de cama limpa, de boa qualidade, trocada. Achei as toalhas um pouco “finas”, mas limpas e como foi substituída não atrapalhou. I detalhe do box, pia-bancada e vaso sanitário serem separados é muito louvável. Registro que senti falta da ducha higiênica. Atendimento do staff impecável, desde o check-in ao check-out. incluindo o segurança-porteiro.

O hotel fica bem próximo ao aeroporto Santos Dumont. Entretanto, a noite, a área onde o hotel está estabelecido é muito deserto, aparentando insegurança. Mas o hotel está remodelado. Os funcionários são muito cordiais e prestativos.

Fiquei em 2 tipos direrentes de quarto. Primeiro, com sacada e cama king, virado para a embaixada da Italia. Quarto maravilhoso, só muito barulhento. Depois, fui para o mini: cama de solteiro e bem silencioso. Foi ótimo já que eu estava só para dormir. Os quartos são bem decorados, as TVs são grandes e tem grande variedade de canais. Quartos renovados, uma delícia. Café da manhã com alta variedade de pães. Recomendo.

O hotel mantém sempre um atendimento impecável, com ótimo café da manhã e quartos confortáveis. No entanto, mais uma vez tive problemas com vazamento no box do banheiro. Sempre que tomava banho, o quarto acabava ficando todo molhado: o tapete de piso pós-banho ficava encharcado e o chão também. Já havia percebido esse problema no quarto 703 e, agora, no 501, onde me hospedei no último final de semana. É algo que incomoda e acaba comprometendo a experiência em determinados momentos.
