Great hotel. Very friendly, accommodating staff

I arrived at te hotel very sick with Salmonella poisoning, so during my stay I did not experience it as intended. My thanks goes to the outstanding staff! They let us cancel the next night in the hotel, they provided two small bottels of apple juice which, was dearly needed just to get a little bit of strength and they gave us a late check out the next day. Those two extra hours helped a lot actually. Best hospitality one can possibly get from a hotel. Thank you so much!

A huge and expensive mistake.

We have stayed in 7 hotels during our trip to Norway and this was the worse and the only one we regret staying. It is quite pricey and it's advertised as this very relaxing beach hotel, for us it was not! They gave us a run of the mill room close to the main road, in an annex of the main building, room was just dull and depressing. Reception lady was missing curtesy and it had a "we don't care" about you sort of feel. Parking was free and very convenient and we had a good breakfast...but that was it.

God service, god mat, hyggelig betjening. Jeg hadde et rom ut mot veien. Måtte ha vinduet oppe for lufting. Mye støy fra veien og lite søvn. Velg rom på andre siden - ut mot fjorden. Hotellet liggger fantastisk til, og med gode tur muligheter rett utenfor døren.
