Overall pretty decent.
The hotel is a bit tired and room very small, but decent bar, lots of room in the main areas and garden, great location and it was a really decent price (which to be fair was why the room was so small). Parking at the car park next door was extortionate but really handy. Overall would stay there again with no hesitation..

Great Location
It was our first ever trip to Bournemouth and we thoroughly enjoyed the sea side and apart from the lift breaking down and people being stuck in it, the hotel is pleasant albeit Victorian as it was the first hotel built there.
The hotel allows pets, i am not a fan of that but each to their own

Thumbs up.
We had a nice stay. The staff were friendly. It's in a great location for the beach and restaurants. Many people comment on the rooms being out of date, but I think it gives a nostalgic feeling of British seaside hotels. The shower pressure was fine. There is a large carpark next to the hotel that cost us £26 for 24 hours (Ringo app). The hotel is nice.

Beautiful views, spacious gardens, historic site, good food, nice people serving and a fabulous location!

Thiefs from house keeping
It was ok. But it was ruined when house keeping stole my Grandsons tablet he left behind the tv. And they never handed it in to reception. We came back to the room 224 after check out and it was not there.

A shadow of former self but still worth stayon
The Royal Bath is, like Bournemouth itself a shadow of it's former self. But the staff were friendly, the rooms clean and light and airy. It was a lovely stay.

Great stay
We had a great visit. Happy with the facilities, staff and room. It is a building with character, so if you are looking for modern and perfectly polished then this may not be the place for you. We tended to eat out but we did have bar food in the lounge area on one of the days and this was lovely. We didn’t try the set meal Buffett. The night we did eat in the lounge we wanted desert but when we asked there was only cake available. Not a major problem but you could be missing a trick on sales! Room was clean and a good size, we stayed in a double with balcony and sea view. Most staff we encountered were friendly. Really nice outdoor areas and obviously great location.

Fab Hotel
Fantastic decor brilliantly located for the pavilion, beach and BIC. Would have rated 5 star but the bed was a bit too hard for our liking. Already looking to return
