Excellent Value Hotel

We were visiting the area for a trade event, at Tobacco Dock, and the hotel was in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the venue was clean and comfortable. A great hotel and very good value, we will definitely be going back if we are staying in the are again.

Stayed two nights visiting London for a show, the hotel is a two minute walk from Shadwell DLR so very convenient. Breakfast was fine each morning, something for everyone.

Amazing and the staff/manager was so helpful and lovely . The bed was comfortable and I slept soundly. The bathroom was lovely with a good size shower.

Our stay wasn’t terrible but I certainly wouldn’t be recommending this hotel to anyone. The best thing about it is the closeness to public transport. Our room was in an awful state of disrepair. The ceilings show a history of leaks into the room and on our first day there was actually a leak coming through. We also witnessed what looked like bed bugs. The staff were friendly in the few dealings we had with them.

The guy at reception was too rude. The room was bad. The area.is not nice. Breakfast was not good. The stairs were too noisy. And the guy ( from india, i guess) , asked me not walk to see my my friend in other level. If they are not happy to recieve turists, they shoud close the hotel.

Cheap place to stay close to central London. It was perfectly fine, quite a tiny room but staff friendly enough. Not cheap cheap, but cheap place to stay considering London prices and it was quite close to public transport

Whilst Dockside Hotel is not the most salubrious, it is a functional, accessible hotel. Rooms were presentable, if a little shabby and in need or some redecoration. Rooms are not big. But if you just need a reasonably comfortable for the night (or two), this should suffice for most. [Booked for London Marathon weekend]

Little love needed

I’ve stay here multiple times and different rooms. The room I had this time really needs some love. Room it self is ok new blinds needed and lock on windows. The bathroom is really big but let down by how clean it is. Also broken floor tiles that could easy cut your feet. Hair dryer cord is damage didn’t use as looked unsafe. Shower screen hard to open was worried it would break. Toilet seat loose. Bed was fine nice and clean and slept well. No fan in this room. Tv has had better days. Stay here before other rooms was fine. Breakfast is fine for what it is. This is not a moan more don’t expect 5 stars for the price.

Dockside Hotel

It was okay. Receptionist was pleasant. The room was tidy (though carpet was worn, also ripped undeneath the window). The bathroom was modern and excellent, with a good supply of essentials with a modern radiator. The TV couldn't be operated as was pixated, giving a code. The room was cold at night as the radiator was permanently turned off. The window required curtains as only blinds available which did not close properly so had light coming in throughout the night. The room key couldn't lock the door whilst out of the room which was a concern, so I had to go for breakfast with my bag/valuables. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The setting was welcoming and with lovely breafast options available - THANK YOU

I’ve stayed at this hotel once before. So it’s not a bad hotel just could do with a little more updating. My room before was a single and believe it or not it was bigger then then double room I had this time. The curtains don’t cover the window so would be better to remove as there are blinds up. And the only sockets are is the only place you walk to the bathroom so this was an issue for me as I needed to charge my phone and watch. The breakfast was a little disappointing think I was the last to go down so maybe my fault. Still the lady made me more scrambled egg and that tasted good. Could not find the tv remote so didn’t watch tv. Has coffee and tea in the room with soap and body wash nice touch. I would definitely stay again as the price is good for staying in London

Broken tiles in the bathroom, broken toilet, very uncomfortable bed. The place felt unclean. This was the worst stay in our trip. Additionally, the receptionist was very rude. The only perk was that it was close to the tube station but I would never stay here again.
