Really nice resort with friendly staff. Breakfast with a great choice of food. Restaurant and bar is nice but expensive for Thailand, Europe prices for everything. Overall the hotel was nice.

The property is absolutely stunning. Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious The only complaint I have is the resort could use some upgrades. The beds were too low and mattress was a little bit too hard. Towels were hard to get extras and face cloths. My handicap husband had some difficulty managing the room. I overall enjoyed my stay.

This accommodation is outstanding and very comfortable, spacious and serene. There is a very large pool and private beach to frockling around in. The staff are so kind and friendly. I would highly recommended this place to stay!

Could be so much more, paradise spoilt!

Not what we expected. advertised as a wellness spa resort, but reality is not! We requested an early check in as we arrived at 9am, this was not met, waited 6 hours for our room! Wasn’t given the right information at check in. If you book half/ full board or all inclusive they give you coupons, to present when you enter the restaurant. (did not like this at all!) you get a different menu, very basic and the same menu for every meal, after 3 days we were ready for a change!! Lots of young children, big inflatables in the pool, large groups, music playing all day, does not equal a place to come, relax and recharge! We had to ask to move rooms as the first pool access room faced out on the main pool area where everyone seemed to gather, making our room very public! (Room2114) avoid!!!! The second was like going into a different resort, room 2118! What made this place was the staff, all so friendly and accommodating, trying to take care of your every need! We got the feel the staff were being closely watched, which made the atmosphere a little tense! On a positive note, the pool areas and grounds were beautiful! A useful note, take pumps for climbing on the rocks for when the tide is out!

Amazing resort

We stayed in hillside room, so funicular was a fun touch. It's a slow ride up and down and only one car was running, so there was a wait. Grounds and pool amazing. Breakfast was splendid. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The property was beautiful. Quiet beach, and awesome pool. We did an all inclusive option. It was ok. We were expecting more like a Mexico/Caribbean type of all inclusive. We were only allowed to choose from a smaller menu for food and drinks. We aren’t major foodies, and we went off site for some meals as well, so it wasn’t a show stopper, just something to be aware of, for others. It was our first time in Thailand and we have been sad about leaving ever since we left. Wonderful property all in all, and definitely hope to visit again. Peaceful and quiet, yet only a short tuk tuk ride to the action of Patong Beach!

We, stayed in both the tropical and the beachfromt ... The staff were amazing . Joy, maria and the team ensure me and my partner were able to create memories for a lifetime and help us when we ran into a local issues. Their willingness to go above an beyond will be a reason I would recommded and look to stay here again.

Nice beach and garden, everything else is poor!

The garden and the beach are the best features of this place. Everything else are very poor. The staff forgot your requests and do not even try to support you when they realized they missed it. They aslo should improve the food quality. The rooms smell mold and the AC was a lot noisy. There’s a taxi desk station at the hotel. The person in charge of this service over charge significantly the rate. Some of the taxi that came over to pick us up confirmed us he often double the price, which is more that adding a normal margin! Thavorn is not a place we will stay again
