It was the perfect place to stay for our "exhausted mums" weekend. The only thing I would have liked was a mini fridge in the bedroom The staff were excellent, we made full use of the pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub. Breakfast was very well catered for and delicious.

Overall, it was an absolutely lovely stay. Me and my partner booked it very last minute and it did not disappoint. The room was lovely and clean with an amazing view. The facilities were lovely and clean. However, I do feel because we were a younger couple, we felt the staff looked down on us a little and didn’t feel as welcoming as other elder couples. But the experience was none the less amazing

Just what we needed. Two night break away.

We had an amazing two night stay at the hotel. Food was beautiful both nights. Used the health facilities such as the pool and jacuzzi both days. Beautiful surroundings and stunning views. Will be visiting again.

Not fit for purpose for young families.

Checked in with a young baby to find the travel cot supplied had no mattress but a make shift duvet and loose fitted sheet had been added. No information in room to call front desk, had to go to reception late at night, ( late check in due to family event and no availability for early check in as previously requested). Front desk never seems to be manned waited 12pm, earlier in the day and 10pm for someone to speak to. Night porter was friendly enough, and issues not his fault but definitely not fit for purpose for young babies. We could not stay so decided to leave at 11pm to make the 2 hr journey home.

Food was superb, service in the restaurant fantastic. Found reception staff cold, not at all welcoming same on departure ! Massage was very good, with lovely therapist. The spa was a bit tired with electrical point hanging with live wires exposed in steam room quite concerning. Golf course was very good, driving range In a bad location.

Not interested in individual Business people, only interested in the group that were staying, the ladies on reception were cold and un welcoming, really could not be bothered, advised of a problem with my bathroom in the morning, didn't even acknowledge the issue! Would not stay there again, not a great hotel for Business travellers!

Lovely stay but.....

Lovely room with views over the golf course. Food very good. Comfort score reduced because we were evacuated twice in one night and spent an hour standing in the car park following a fire alarm. Staff seemed to have no clue what to do in an emergency

So relaxing

I had the most relaxing weekend at Tewksbury Park. The bed was really comfortable and the room was extremely clean. The place is really quiet and everyone was helpful and just downright nice. We loved the food, at Mint, at the Lounge, at breakfast. And they catered for our food intolerancies as well as having a lot of choice for vegetarians and vegan. We loved the pool and the hot tub and the tennos courts were decent. We had fun and managed to relax and we never felt we really needed to leave the place. Definitely worth the money.

Worth a visit.

Have stayed here before, that's why we came back. Lovley hotel, very clean, bedrooms good size, bed pillows soooo comfy. Dining good but very pricey. Portions not enough, for cost. Breakfast good. Facilities good. Staff polite. An overall very nice stay. Plenty of nice places to eat in the town. Taxi prices from hotel to town, a rip off. 5 minute ride . £9/10 e. w.

Very nice stay

Spotless and comfortable room and public area, lovely views and location. Good gym and pool facilities, and tasty buffet breakfast with pleasant service. Only downside was pricey food in the restaurant....I'm sure it was very good but well outside my employer's expense policy! Also slight concern about potential noise from ground floor rooms below, which have nice patio areas and even in February people were out till quite late. Our room didn't have aircon so this could be a problem when (if?) It gets warmer.

A golfing hotel with one hole I don't like

As ever it is the staff that make or break a hotel and the staff at Tewkesbury park were the best. Thanks to all of you for making our stay enjoyable. The grounds and facilities were all well maintained and all available for use, we especially enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and steam room. Two other things one good one bad; the breakfasts were excellent, no rush, lots of choice and good service. The one bad thing was the plug hole design in the bathroom sink; to open and close the sink you had to put your finger in the plug hole, yuck! I know you're a golfing hotel but that's one hole I'd rather not putt my finger into. Score 9.999 out of 10.

Terrible hotel with Terrible politics

Absolutely shocked by this hotel. My husband took a half empty shampoo bottle home and without saying anything they charged my card £51 without permission. It's disgusting. We have stayed every year for 6 years and this is how they treat regular customers. Will never stay again now so for a greedy £51 now you have lost thousands in repeat business from my company and will spread the word to all my clients. Stupid business decisions but hey ho your choice

No AC

Very disappointed in the hotel as it's a four star hotel and some of the room are not air conditioned but they charge the same price. Room we were in was very hot and when I complained and wanted a room with AC i was told all the AC room were fully booked and I asked why doesn't all the rooms have AC I was told its a Old Building. very uncomfortable three nights very little sleep We were given a fan. If it wasn't late in the evening when we checked in we would have not stayed their.

The location was excellent, being peaceful & tranquil. The food was also excellent, breakfast In particular. The choice for dinner was rather limiting, but the curry was amazing! Unfortunately the accommodation was way below our expectations & was very disappointing. We booked an executive twin, which had a private patio overlooking the golf course with stunning views beyond, but we did have to share this with 2 resident voles! The room itself was very small with only a shower & no bath (again disappointing). The overall decor was very tired & the cleanliness left a lot to be desired: cobwebs hanging down from the ceiling/ dirty, dusty fan which did not oscillate/bottom of bathroom door rotten/bathroom ceiling fan extremely noisy & outside awning was missing a plug with the wires just dangling, to name but a few noticeable deficiencies. I wish I had reported my findings to reception, but didn’t want to make a fuss. My sister stayed here twice before on a golf package & had a completely different experience. Whether it was because we booked through hotels.com I don’t know, but our stay fell far short of our expectations & we would be interested in a response from the hotel direct if possible.
