Quirky hotel

We stayed here for 1 night as we were visiting Dynamo Dresden for a match. The hotel is a little way from the station but walkable up through the town, there is also a tram that takes you most of the way. This hotel is very quirky as its designed around an artist I believe but the hotel was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and we were able to check in early as we arrived in good time. The hotel is situated nearer to the old town but is around 10-15 minute walk into the shopping area and around 20-30 min walk from the stadium. The bar area was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The barman was called Michael Eberle and he made us feel very welcome and was friendly to talk too. Would stay again

We enjoyed our brief, 2-night stay at the Penck Hotel. The art of AR Penck on display throughout the hotel is worthy of a visit alone. Our room was clean and comfortable with a plush bed and blackout curtains, and great water pressure in the shower. Penck's quiet location offers easy connections to Dresden's main site via convenient and abundant public transit while being outside the city center. Consider including breakfast with your stay; the variety of fresh options is worth the splurge. This was our second stay at the Penck Hotel, and should we find ourselves in Dresden in the future, I have no doubt where we'll stay.

Don’t stay if you want comfort.

They didn’t have a fridge. We couldn’t have anything cold. Their breakfast is a waste of money. The cleaner didn’t really clean. Just made the bed sometimes. Will never come back.

Wer es etwas außergewöhnlich mag, ist hier genau richtig. Wir hatten die Suite mit toller Aussicht auf die Altstadt von Dresden. Das Früstück war sehr vielfältig, lecker und die Speisen wurden immer frisch zubereitet. Die Betten waren super bequem und von der Klima hat man nichts gehört, genauso wenig wie von den anderen Gästen. Einige Bereiche sind etwas abgenutzt über die Jahre und die Fenster hätten auch eine Reinigung vertragen können. Aber trotzdem war es ein rundum super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ich habe eine kurze Dresden gemacht. Diese Unterkunft bietet in allen Kategorien nur Gutes. Vin hier aus eine Haltestelle und man erreicht die Semper Oper, den Zwinger und eigentlich die ganze Altstadt. Das teure Frühstück ist sein Geld wert. Man kann sich an einem reichhaltihen Büffet abwechselunsreich bedienen. Einfacher Check in, 24/7 rein und raus. Ich wählte die Unterkunft aufgrund der 700 bunten Exponate des Künstlers Penck, die im ganzen Hotel zu bewundern sind. Ich komme wieder, keine Frage.

Zimmer 5. Etage, angenehm ruhig, Sehr schöner Blick auf die Altstadt von Dresden von der Terrasse aus. Personal freundlich. Gute Zimmerausstattung, sehr modern und viel Platz im Zimmer mit Duschwanne. Angenehm breites und bequemes Bett. Alles sehr sauber. Wasserkocher vorhanden auf dem Zimmer. Wlan schnell. Leider funktionierte das Hotelpad im Zimmer nicht und zwischen 10:30 - 11:45 klopfte 3x das Housekeeping am Check Out Tag an,.ob ich noch im Zimmer sei. Dies muss definiert besser organisiert werden, da dies nervte. Ansonsten Gute Lage des Hotels zum ÖPNV und in die Altstadt.
