Modern, spartan room. A little stuffy. Didn’t have a hot water pot or tea, but they were brought up to me when I requested. Clean except for the sticky yuck I stepped on when I first entered the room. Unbeatable location near theaters, cable cars, BART trains, and Union Square

Hotel is centrally located close to public transportation and is easy to get to from BART. My room was very small but comfortable. Lighting is not great. No cups. They have a small cafe that is underwhelming. But other coffee places and restaurant close. Lyft or Uber is easy access. Would stay their again,price was right.

**A Gem in the Heart of San Francisco**

I had an excellent stay at The Stratford Hotel in San Francisco! The location could not have been better-right in the heart of the city, with easy access to all the sights, shops, and restaurants I wanted to explore. It made getting around so convenient and really gave me the full San Francisco experience I was looking for. The room itself was cozy, clean, and comfortable, creating the perfect space to relax after a day of exploring. It had a charming feel that made me feel right at home. While the hotel doesn’t have air conditioning, the weather was absolutely perfect during my stay. I was able to keep the window open the whole time and enjoy the fresh San Francisco breeze, which actually added to the experience. Overall, The Stratford delivered exactly what I was hoping for. A comfortable, welcoming stay in a prime location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting San Francisco and will absolutely consider staying here again on my next trip!
