I made a reservation with Hotels.com and upon arriving within 45 minutes, was told they were FULLY BOOKED and I was turned away without any options other than NO ROOMS from the Hotel when I arrived at the counter.
When I booked on Hotels.com interface showed the hotel had 5 rooms of the type I requested and 8 of a different kind of room, but Customer service at the Hotel had to call the hotel, but they never answered, so I was in limbo....
Spent an hour on chats with Hotel.com - had to restart the chat 3 times and it disconnected repeatedly, requiring me to start over with the process - as told, I had to have my refund reviewed later, and I would get a response via Email. So I had to book a hotel with a different service to get a hotel for the night.
