We arrived at ~8:30am having come directly from a cruise so rather early for check in. The front desk employee assured me we would receive a text letting us know when our room was available as we were sitting in the dining area. Roughly 5 hours later I approached the desk to see if there was any chance of getting checked in. The gentleman, who was not who I dealt with earlier, apologized for not realizing we were trying to check in when he saw me previously and said our room had been ready for some time. Frustrating to say the least.
We were told that laundry facilities were available for free (providing our own detergent) but because we didn’t have our room assignment yet, we would be unable to use them despite clearly having a reservation.
Once we were in our room, it was observed that there appeared to be feces smeared on the wall above the trash can. Further, the gap-stop under the main entryway door was broken.
Aside from these couple issues, the location was ideal for our needs, the bed was quite comfortable, and the food suggestions given to use were excellent.
Lastly it was greatly appreciated that the shuttle arrived ahead of time and took us safely to the airport.
Overall an excellent stay at the property despite the initial delay getting in to our room and the housekeeping staff overlooking some sanitation opportunities.
