Great and convenient location when staying in Golden, and an easy ten minute drive to Red Rocks. The property needs some work, remodeling and updating. It hasn't aged well and hopefully the new ownership takes this task on.

This hotel needs some TLC. Many things need to be fixed or tightened, such as toilet roll holder, shower soaps holder, & towel racks. This was an accessible room, but the shower curtain was so close to the shower head you were touching it. The floor had a lot of stains in the room & in hallway. It is in a nice quiet area and is pet friendly.

Extremely poor maintenance/cleanliness

First room assigned to us was visibly filthy with garbage on the floor and literal waste in the toilet. Second smelled overwhelmingly of cigarette smoke. Third had an overpowering chemical smell. Desk staff was helpful but did not look remotely surprised or bothered that they'd sent guests to two separate filthy rooms.
