We had a few minor hiccups upon arrival but Faye was to quick to remedy every one of them. The accommodations were perfect for our stay. Faye is an excellent on-site manager, very kind, friendly and takes excellent care of the grounds!

The walls were incredibly thin so we could hear the neighbors very clearly in the early morning and we weren’t able to sleep. Everything else was fine, it was a nice cottage for a short stay and had everything we needed. The tv was difficult to get working but it eventually did. Other than the experience with the neighbors, it was a great stay!

Very nice and helpful staff. Unfortunately broken light (hence very dark on the room), blocked drain in the sink and water not leaving the bathtub. We reported everything, but only the drain I. The sink could be repaired. This room quality is not worth the prize.

Budget friendly motel

This motel is located 25 min from the ski mountain. Rooms are very simple room so if you are looking for more stay in Steamboat. Beds are hard and have a waterproof cover so it makes noise when you move. It was all we needed since we were only there to sleep.

Very clean room

The owner.manager was very helpful in finding me a place to park my truck with a small trailer. The room was very clean and we heard very little noise after 8:00. The information for check in, directions, etc was clear and accurate. I will stay there again.

Nice Stay 20 minutes from Steamboat Springs

The Lodges of Oak Creek was a good alternative to the more expensive lodging in Steamboat Springs as we had some flexibility in our schedule for the weekend. The standard room was comfortable and had everything we needed - but FYI, no hairdryer. The location was pleasant and we sat out in front of room each night. There were only a couple of dining options in Oak Creek, but the one we ate at was good.

We stayed in one of the deluxe suite and didn't like the experience - 1) room very small; 2) no light in the kitchen area, so had to do things with dim light from the sleeping area; 3) no kitchen paper towel; 4) not enough facial tissue; 5) no hanger (like the hooks though) and not enough hooks; 6) no one told us the password for the wifi (couldn't find any instruction in the room) and no one replied to our email or call; 7) coffee not good quality; 8) corners of the rugs not lying flat and posed risks of tripping. We spent the last day of 2023 there, which we regretted. The only highlight is that the lady who works at the check-in whom we finally were able to get hold of tried to help and gave us all we requested for. She seemed to be nice.

double booked room

at 11pm on our first night we had 2 men unlock our room using the door code. they had double booked the room. we called to have the managers come change the electronic code because we felt unsafe. they told us they’ve NEVER changed the codes and never had a problem before. they told us they could come fix it the next day. at 6pm we were told the owner does not allow them to change the door codes. felt unsafe as we were 3 women with nothing to defend ourselves. also the beds were extremely uncomfortable and so squeaky. walls very thin as we could hear everything our neighbors talked about.

Thin walls

Everything was fine, with one exception: Your walls are too thin. I was kept up until 2:30 a.m. by people in the next room. These people were not parting, or playing loud music, or even being loud... they were just talking, which normally would be fine, but I could hear them as if I were in the room with them. You would need to probably do spray foam insulation to fix this problem.

The room was fine and comfortable and clean. The problem was that there were toxic air, freshener fumes coming from the pillows, and I couldn’t sleep because they were so strong. I had to sleep without the pillows. Also, this town is rundown and far away from steamboat and far away from anything

Not my favorite hotel room.

Bed was comfortable but sheets were dirty. Bathroom was tiny with no sink or shelf to put our toiletries. No bar of soap in bathroom. Bath door was so hard to close that when I tried to close it, the noise woke up my partner! No one on site to help us with these issues. No one responded to our complaint of dirty sheets.
