Overpriced and underwhelming.

Unless your goal is to stay in a historic cottage -Way too expensive for the experience. Not enough parking, no one to offer help with luggage (though I got an email saying so before arriving). Bed was very good, I’ll give good mark for that. Worst was the mediocre breakfast only served 8-9:30 - I’m sure many will complain about how LONG they had to wait to be seated and fed. Never again, way better places to stay in town for way less $$.

Beautiful historic Bed and Breakfast . We had the “Mint room” on the first floor . Huge room with large bathroom area . Delicious Homemade snack available at 3pm . Excellent location to walk into Bar Harbor . Very quiet location . Breakfast was good although pretty basic . We would stay again .

Great location. Historic ambiance with three sitting rooms. Staff was great! Parking was easy. Breakfast was terrific. For those who like tea time, at 3:00 pm tea/coffee is served along with cake and cookies.

This is the best hotel I stayed in during my trip on the East Coast. Walker and Whitney were wonderful. I felt so welcome and the atmosphere was friendly the entire time I was there. The property was beautiful, the rooms were perfectly clean and it was very quiet. On top of that the beds were super comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was wonderful. wish I could give them 10 stars!
