Excellent location beside train station making very easy access to any part of Tokyo. Staff very helpful especially with luggage transfer. Rooms small, never understand why they fill them with furniture , take out 2 armchairs & unnecessary table & room would have been much more comfortable!,, had to move bed so both of us had access!!!!

Rooms were clean and efficient. For USA standards, a bit on the smaller side. Everything worked properly. Needs a few more outlets for other items. Coffee maker worked well with ample supply of condiments. Easy check in and check out. Staff was great. Breakfast buffet was well stocked with lots to choose from, both Asian and American.

I've booked 2 rooms for my stay. Unfortunately, my family couldn't make it on the day of the booking. The hotels.com and Hotel Metropolitan staffs were very helpful and understanding. They gladly gave me a full refund for the other room. The location is perfect. The hotel is within a short walk from everything you need. I prefer Ikebukuro than Ginza or Shinjuku areas. Less crowded, same necessities.
