We stayed at the Super 8/Wyndham, in Ankeny, IA on July 12. The room was a great size. The front desk people were so friendly and the breakfast was amazing. I would definitely stay there again and recommend anyone looking for a great hotel to stay there.

Purchased this reservation months ago. Said it had a pool. Pool was out of order and would not let us out of out reservation. Kids were super bummed. poop dried up in the bathroom. Outside door did not lock. Was a terrible experience overall.

I was in Iowa for another family event and it worked well once again to stay here. close to I-35 so not a big deal to get on the road when I need to leave. Enjoyed the make your own waffle, the continental breakfast was one reason why I chose this one.

Stayed here while my child was in a sports tournament. Simple, clean rooms with a pretty good complimentary breakfast. It was a bonus that we could have our dog along for an extra $20 a day. Friendly staff - a few guests that were constantly smoking at the entrances was kind of gross, but overall perfect place for the money.

Very nice Indian lady who was at the front desk when we checked in. Unfortunately, we did not is over (nor were we told when checking in) that the cable television was not working. We discovered this upon returning for the evening. The lady said the cable was out over most of the motel but offered to find us a room - and move us - that had the one news channel we could watch. Instead of the queen bed we had reserved and paid for in the first room(111) the bed in the newer new room (207) was a full sized bed. Neither my husband or I slept well and left early. Before moving rooms, we had reserved rooms for three nights for the state high school track meet in May. However, we will check before keeping them to confirm the cable tv is working as if it is still broken, we will be canceling. Overall, a very disappointing stay.

Decent place to stay.

We came late as we spent the day at Adventureland and lady was very friendly and accommodating. She gave us extra blankets and even extra towels as our room didn’t have enough. It was very quiet, had an odor in the hallways but otherwise not in the room. Our room was set to 74 when we got in there and took forever to cool down, which made it uncomfortable to sleep. We noticed on our bank statement the next morning she had charged us for the room when we had already paid third party via hotels.com, she didn’t understand first but then quickly refunded us. Breakfast was mediocre but plentiful. Belgian waffle maker, bagels, cereal, fruit. The kids enjoyed it. Juice and coffee as well. Only had green tea which was a letdown but def not a big deal. The bathroom was decently cleaned, however we did notice hairs in the shower which we cleaned out before bathing. We would probably stay again if needed to as was in a decent area and not too expensive. Everyone was friendly!
