This hotel is very well situated for the Capital and downtown -- it's not a local neighborhood, if that's what you're looking for. The room and bathroom were spacious and soundproofed. The gentleman at check-in and check-out was very polite and helpful. The rooms could use some updating electronically -- more charge points for phones, airpods, etc. would be useful. Would not recommend for a business traveler until they update that aspect, but for a vacation traveler, it was find.

I was only there for one night with my husband. Clean, spacious room with a well-appointed and immaculate bathroom. The fridge, microwave, safe and coffee service were tucked away in a cabinet. Very comfy bed and super quiet. We were in town for a show at the National which was in walking distance so we didn’t eat at the restaurant (we didn’t get back in time; it had closed) but the bar was very nice and the bartender can make anything you want! Beautiful, old, historic hotel. Would stay again.
