close to tube station and Kensington Gardens, Lovely walk through gardens to Royal Albert Hall, but the park is closed at dusk, so was a longer walk back. Small rooms but fine for an overnight stay. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Room was small, no space for 2 people to pass each other. Bed was too small for two, it was a 3/4 bed. Room not really big enough for bigger bed. Toilet very small, hardly any room to move. Sitting on toilet knees were about four inches from wall. Breakfast was fine, basic but enough to give you a start, cereal,toast,croissants, yoghurt,fruit tea and coffee, cold meats. Staff were friendly. Good location. No place to store stuff. Had to put cases under bed. The price for the location of the hotel was about the one good thing in its favour.

This is a very compact hotel, room and bathroom small but adequate. To be fair, it was as comfortable as it could possibly be for its size and many of the big cities have compact rooms. The staff were excellent, very helpful and room and facilities kept very clean and serviced daily. From this area we walked to Notting Hill and Portabello Road. Easy, if you like walking which we do. Now that I know what to expect, we will probably stay again. Des & Anita

Comfort Inn Bayswater

Was lovely hotel with 24hr reception. Room basic but nice.. TV, bathroom/shower and kettle. Bed very comfy. Complementary breakfast was basic continental but was ok. Only complaint was the dining room was so small… it was too small which let it down Near to Bayswater and Queensway Tubes and plenty of shops/cafes etc nearby. Opposite Kensington gardens and Hyde park. We chose it because we were going to a festival in Hyde Park and could get the bus there.

As the lift was not yet in service, I found the stairs tiring but not a problem. Perhaps at breakfast, large plates would be better to accommodate the meat, cheese, toast etc. Food was good and the assistant was helpful.

After long flight from Australia, they gave us check in at 10am which was handy. Room was very small but did the job. Elevator out of service so walking up 4 levels of stairs with our 3 kids with bags was hard work. Great location, close to metro station and plenty of restaurants and bars around. Excellent breakfast offered and staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff are nice. Location for me was perfect. If you have a room on the top floor be prepared to scale a steep staircase. The breakfast was basic and the hair dryer was broken. Shame because I was soaked after a day of rain. I might consider returning because the location (edge of Hyde Park) is so good.
