Small but clean in a good location

Small but very clean room in a great location. Reception staff were excellent (a guy from Cuba) and explained the various parking options we had. Shower was excellent, great pressure and plenty of hot water. A small bit cramped in the room but more than suited our needs for a two night stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if back in Bilbao.

The hotel is well situated, located a short walk from the central Intermodal transport hub and across the road from a nice bakery/cafe. The rooms are quite small but they are clean and they have everything you need for a short stay in Bilbao. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was what you'd expect from a budget hotel.

The hotel was lovely, very comfy bed lovely shower and very quiet room. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast ample. It was in a bit of a run down area, we struggled to find places to get a proper meal, we stayed in Bilbao for the Tour de France and thought we would make a long weekend of it. However there isn’t a great deal to do in Bilbao itself so we got an earlier flight home.

It was Ibis Budget classic standard - small but well-planned room. I was surprised to see a room key card made of... wood. Not sure it's an environment-friendly idea. Think how many trees need to cut to made those cards.

Unfortunately I only checked in at 0930 on the day I was leaving so did not sleep there but nonetheless the staff were welcoming and I was allowed to use the room until 1300. This gave me time to visit the Bilbao Guggenheim Museum before catching a bus to Madrid from the nearby bus station. Breakfast looked good but I did not have time and otherwise the room was fine.

Nice staff. Room was comfortable, but not well isolated. Every time someone close shut the door of their room, it would be unbelievably loud for us, to rhe point our walls shook and we woke up. Also the guy in the next room was doing loud noises and yelling occasionally and it can be heard unfortunately

I understand that this is a budget hotel but there could be improvements on several aspects such as the thin mattress which slides sideways all the time and the towels which were worn out. The room is also not soundproof so there is noise coming from the adjacent rooms. Finally, the cleaning staff should be less invasive with guests' personal belongings and privacy. I came back to my room one day to find my pyjamas on the dirty luggage and several of my belongings were also moved around in the room.

No chair no desk no heat or AC no closet no tissues or any amenity other than soap; no phone no hairdryer and no place to sit in the lobby but za dtoool or kitchen chair. Pleasant staff. Clean. Eco conscious. Outrageous for what I paid.

Great location for Football stadium. Which is the reason I chose this place. But its way overpriced for what you get. £130 per night for a room that doesnt even have any usb charge points for phones and laptops means bringing adapters and chargers.I would describe the hotel as a very basic 2/3 star.

Bad experience in overall. You could hear the rooms around and there was constant noise the whole night (it seemed like they had paper walls or similar!). The room was not very clean and the fact of not having a proper toilet (there was a separate cabinet for the shower, another for the wc, but the sink was in the middle of the room, which by the way was very small) is a big let down. Also you need to ask for the hairdryer in reception since there is none in the rooms (first time I see this). Definitely won't try again any Ibis budget.
