Fantastic hotel with great staff

The hotel had a wonderful atmosphere with a clean and welcoming environment. Every member of staff was professional, helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable and i had a restful sleep. I will be recommending this hotel to friends and family and will be visiting again.

Great stay, really comfortable and great value

Swimpool was small and overcrowded when we visited on Sunday afternoon. Great for motorway stop and hotel is dated but massive, so much room. In the room, the lobby, the bar....we loved it. Friendly staff especially at breakfast and regardless of other reviews, lots of choice and great quality. Definitely would visit again especially as it's Desi Bar country. We had dinner at The Hungry Elephant. Top top quality Indian food and enough left to take for next day dinner.

Amazing stay at this hotel. The hotel receptionist Bev was so friendly and welcoming and made the check in process very smooth. The room was excellent with all the facilities needed as well as being spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Disgusted - worst service ever and zero accountabi

Disgusting ! Booked and paid for 4 nights. Something came up I couldn’t get there Monday. I arrived Tuesday evening to be told because I’d not arrived Monday they cancelled the whole week - shouldn’t matter that I didn’t check in - I paid for the week and they were now fully booked. I was told they had only charged me for the Monday. They lied

A huge soulless property that feel like an airport hotel. With the exception of the public areas, nothing appears to have changed since the early noughties. The rooms, though faded, are comfortable and clean. Breakfast scraped by but could be better quality. I wouldn’t return.

A disappointing stay - on arrival my room’s A/C was set to 9 degrees, the photos of the swimming pool are very flattering, the hot water in my room failed to work for 2/4 showers (this was a building issue that weekend apparently), some plug sockets in the room didn’t work. Got woken up a few times in the night as the doors are very thin. I ended up getting a refund for my last night and leaving a day early

Great welcome at reception. Accessible room allocated as requested. In my opinion, there is a design flaw in the bathroom, as the 'accessible' toilet is positioned too low to be accessible and is too close to the hand basin. The shower was more of a trickle than a shower, albeit hot, and I've had worse showers, so it's not worth complaining about, just an observation. We ate at the restaurant in the evening - a very pleasant experience with attentive staff. Sadly, the same could not be said about breakfast. A few staff members mingling about, not offering hot beverages. You had to 'flag them down' and wait for hot drinks. I noted several tables waiting, and it wasn't overly busy. Tables weren't wiped down in between customers, cutlery was just rearranged, and the idea of a large jug of milk left on tables for subsequent customers is just not nice and possibly unhygienic. The English breakfast food was hot except for the scrambled egg, which was supplied in such vast quantities that it inevitably became cold quickly. All in all such a shame after a very positive experience the evening before.
