Very thankful for their commitment to service!

We were checked into the Holiday Inn Express down the street, but had a horrible experience with the staff and quality of hotel. So we left there at 10PM and went 3 blocks down and was greeted warmly by the front desk associate. She kindly waived the parking fee, and mentioned that she had heard we had a bad experience when she was contacted by hotels.com representative to book this room, she said she wanted us to not have to worry about one more thing. The big kicker as to why we needed to book with Courtyard by Marriott, was they actually confirmed immediately that they had a travel crib available! The Holiday Inn lied to us when I had confirmed more than 15 hours earlier. Our room was clean, modern, comfortable for us. I will be now booking this hotel on our frequent visits to the Portland area.
