We always have a wonderful trip to Chicago. When we stay at the Congress. It's centrally located and easily accessible to most eateries and local attractions. The staff are always very attentive and willing. We truly enjoy our stays.

Vintage hotel in amazing location

This is a beautiful old hotel in a great location in very good to excellent condition. The A/C worked fine, the bed was comfortable, and we had a lovely view of the lake and the fireworks at Navy Pier. The location, right across from Buckingham Fountain, is great. My partner and I thought that the Congress Plaza Hotel was charming and would stay there again.

I give it five stars because I don’t really have any complaints. The bed was very comfortable, the room was large for 2 people, very spacious. The bathroom was spacious, clean and could use an upgrade but it worked just fine. The price was right and the location to downtown, Soldier Stadium, and the train station was perfect.

It was amazing. We arrived early morning to Chicago from long overnight drive. Hotel allowed us to check in much earlier. Staff were extra accommodating. Rooms were roomy and comfortable.
