Very cute cottage and good location, easy to find in Waze app. Very close to La Fortuna waterfall. Property was cozy and lovely sitting on deck and hearing local birds.

Very serene atmosphere with lake, ducks and greenery. Very good host who lives on property. He even provided firm mattress as I didn’t like that couch mattress. Ample parking The only issue was tin roof which made lot of noise during rain but after one day you stopped noticing it haha

Nice , cute property. Rainforest feeling . Rain drops on the roof is very loud ., can bother your sleeping , but very natural rainforest feeling . Easy location to drive to town down . Hot water not working some days , that is the bad for showering . LOL .

Cute little cabins near a small man made lake. Quiet and peaceful at night. The staff and rooms were pretty nice. Included a small kitchen and fridge and nice AC. Only issues would be that the place is a bit far from town. If you don’t have a car it’ll be a hike. Also lots of bugs and the rooms aren’t sealed completely so they can get into the rooms even if you keep the doors and windows closed. Still a nice stay id recommend it.

Clean stay with lagoon view

Overall comfortable stay with lagoon view. Very clean! Way less mosquitos than I expected. We liked waking to fish and turtles and going to bed with frog and gecko sounds. The building itself does smell humid… because it is not totally sealed from the outside. We were also visiting during the wet season (end of July). Turn the AC on while indoors and no problem. Close to the rivers with hot springs, the hot spring resorts, and restaurant. You need a car tho.

Nice hotel but unfriendly management

We enjoyed the stay overall but it was raining all the time and the roof above than bedroom and kitchen was leaking. We had to move the beds. Also, the owner tried to charge us $30 extra per night for kids, even though the property was clearly described as “family friendly” and “kids stay free” on the booking website. Will not come back.

Absolutely beautiful property! We sat on the front deck and watched turtles swim by every morning. Was a bit worried the water would smell but it didn’t at all. It was like your own little private sanctuary. Would stay here again!!

We booked two rooms - one on the lake and one inside. We were offered two rooms - none of them on the lake. The rooms were in opposite directions and my kids had to stay far away from us. They complained that they had a lot of noise coming from the busy road and their neighbors. The owner is very responsive and tried to adjust our rooms but couldn't. Felt very disappointed that we couldn't stay on the lake because that was the main reason I booked the property.

We love this place!

We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Leider regnete es die ganze Zeit. Wenn man in Ruhe schlafen will, ist es nicht zu empfehlen. Das Dach ist aus Blech und der Regen ☔️ platscht da drauf in voller Lautstärke. Besser bei schönem Wetter. Der Besitzer ist freundlich, zuvorkommend, zuverlässig und via WhatsApp erreichbar. Ohne Regen ist die Unterkunft absolut empfehlenswert
