We stayed here for 2 nights to visit our daughter who studies in Rotterdam. At checkinn we liked the treat. Breakfast price of 18€ was to much for us. We found nice places in the direct neighboorhood. Renovations and maintenance in the hall did not bother too much. Our room was small but comfortable, view at one of the canals of the Martime Museum.

Straight after cruise

Hotel was very helpful allowing me access well before check in time. As I was warned there is building work going on although this did not disturb as this was a weekend stay. Staff also stored my bags for a few hours after check out. I did not use the restaurant or bars

Coffee from the Starbucks in reception was luke warm but best, got it, went straight to the lift, tasted it in the lift and had to drink it straight away before the lift even got up to the 3rd floor. Also, the noise from the vehicles going over the section of road that lifts to let the boats through made a rumble which whey trying to get to sleep was a bit of a nuisance. The beds were very comfortable though.

Nice staying here. Located by the maritime Museum, boat taxis, boat cruises, the pedestrian area and bars are super close. The metro is located directly I front of the hotel. Parking g are rage about a 10 minutes walk and the shopping area is in that area as well as the tourist information center. Breakfast was pretty decent. The service was great as well. Was able to get a day pass for the metro at the front desk. Would stay again.

The hotel is kind of part of another or connected to another hotel which is slightly higher class. All the ammenities, service etc. is in the other hotel and you do not have full access to all. So you kind of feel second class. That is just a feeling - other than that the hotel is good quality. Could be little more eco considered.

Convenient and comfortable

I have stayed in the hotel previously when attending conferences in Rotterdam. The reception service can be hit and miss; they often cannot provide information or support such as tram tickets or how to get to certain locations. The hotel is being rebranded with a more well known name within their chain. Hopefully they only have one reception as they currently have two - ***** Hotel and **** Hotel - Maas and Mainport Hotels. The breakfast service is excellent, sadly dinner is not so good.

One of our party was given a room, when he went to his room it was already occupied ! I asked for a iron and ironing board to iron my shirt for the following day. The receptionist said that there was one at the end of the corridor. There wasn't !
