Beautiful view

The location is perfect for us to walk to the Black lake. It was lovely to also have a nice view of snow capped mountains. We enjoyed an evening relaxing in the steam room and sauna on our first night after a long drive from Sarajevo. The bed was also comfortable and we slept well every night.

What a great hotel, just outside town

We loved our 2-night stay at Hotel SOA. The room was spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the breakfast - Wow! It is a very doable walk to Black Lake vs. driving to the crowded parking area. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening. The service and food were both excellent.

The staff at this hotel is amazing. The manager, Bojan. is so involved with the customers and makes sure you have an incredible experience. And the restaurant has the best food you will find in the mountains. When they tell you that at the front desk believe them because it’s true. The rooms are good…not wonderful but it didn’t matter because everything else was so fantastic. You will not find better service or food in Zabljak. Highly recommend!

The hotel is well located near the Black Lake, while being in walking distance of restaurants and shops. Personel is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is lovely with fresh prepared french toast and pancakes. They also serve eggs. Little bread options though. But for the price you’re paying, you’d expect at least some airconditioning. The room had a mobile unit but it was good for two things: blocking access to the fridge and making noise. If you’re on the street side, there is also the loud music from the outdoor terrace to keep you awake and the garbage collection at 6am will work as your alarm.
