My husband and I had a wonderful time at the quaint lake Shasta lodge. Our dog loved running around the grassy area at the end of the property. After spending our days hiking, we relaxed with drinks and food at the friendly Klub Klondike next door (which has a dog friendly patio).

A good place to stop if you don't mind lots of noise from the highway at night, rooms are not sound proof, and room was dusty with a few dead bugs. Owner was super nice, and price was super cheap.

I was very impressed with Shah’s hospitality. The whole experience made for a very fun and cozy adventure! The room had a great heater, the beds were not uncomfortable, and the shower just took a few minutes to warm up (I was a little worried that maybe there wasn’t warm water at first haha). I would definitely stay here again. Beautiful area and a great place to stay!

The room was a nice size. Clean room but big stain on curtains... strange smell. Very nice man checked us in and was very helpful. All in all great for our quick stop on our way from coast. Loved the friendly cats on property!

This place is very retro chic! It has an old-school vibe, but with definite upgrades and a full kitchen. Parking is easy. Next-door is a really cute bar with excellent food and very friendly! Easy on and easy off the freeway and very affordable. Would definitely recommend.

As peaceful as always!

This is one of my favorite spots. Nice and rustic and quiet. I had hoped to stay on the return trip, but unfortunately, had to take a different route back home. I will continue to visit this very comfortable lodge whenever I'm in the vicinity.

We had a great time during our 7 day stay while we boated Lake Shasta! The owners and manager of the lodge were very attentive and helpful. The boat parking area was safe and secure. The rooms could use some updating and the area behind our side of the hotel could use some tidying, but none of those things kept us from having a great time and enjoying our stay!

Somewhere to sleep

This is a motel style room, right next to the freeway. You’re booking this for somewhere to sleep, not to enjoy. Room was clean, bed was quite hard. Kept up most of the night by the sex noises next door but that’s not the owner’s fault!

I thought this hotel was in Mt Shasta so i had to back track south It's fine for overnight, very dated, could use some updating However, excellent service, had micro, frig no restaurants; have to get back on freeway if you're hungry Great price
