This is a gorgeous place! The cabin is comfortable, the host is friendly and the grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed the private hot tub and having the little calves right next door! Also—-the star gazing swings were amazing. Loved all the flowers too. Great stay—thank you!

We regret that we arrived Te Mahru late in the evening and only spent one night. Got a beautiful garden with hot tubs. Great place to relax. Breakfast was excellent and in a home like setting where everyone sit together at the dining table and know each other. The owner is extremely helpful and friendly. Also has free laundry facilities. Highly recommend to anyone.

Ein wirklicher Rückzugsort

Im schönen Neuseeland ist dieses B&B ein eher seltenes Fundstück. Es liegt nur wenige hundert Meter von der SH 1 entfernt und trotzdem hört man nur naturnahe Geräusche. Es besteht aus wenig Gästezimmern, die dezent dekoriert und praktisch eingerichtet sind. Durch die großen Fensterfronten, die meist zum sehr gepflegten Garten hin ausgerichtet sind, hat man einen schönen Ausblick. Jen, die Inhaberin, ist sehr freundlich, gut informiert und den Gästen auch sehr zugewandt. Sie hat alles im Blick und im Griff. Ihr Frühstücksbüffet ist liebevoll zusammengestellt. Gegessen wird an großen Tischen, so dass auch ein (Info-)Austausch zwischen den Gästen zustandekommen kann. Alles wunderbar familiär. Zwei Hot Tubes können genutzt werden. Auch das trägt zur Entspannung bei. Erwähnenswert ist auch die Möglichkeit, Wäsche zu waschen und einen Trockner zu benutzen. Eine Küche steht den Gästen zur Verfügung. In diesem Retreat kann man wirklich eine schöne Zeit verbringen.
